They Sang As They Slew, also known simply as TSATS, is an indie rock band from Toccoa, Georgia.
Canary was a side project of Luxury's guitarist, Jamey Bozeman, and bassist, Chris Foley, during their hiatus from touring and recording. Canary released a full-length album, A Sound of Summer Running, a split EP called Scissors and Blue volume 4. During that time the members of Canary, Luxury, Viva Voce, and Menomena formed The Cut and Paste Collective which released 15+ albums under its umbrella including a compilation CD. Canary also appeared on the Audiolab Records tribute to the Prayer Chain called Salutations, covering the song "Antarctica" in the fall of 2002.
When Foley left Canary to attend St. Vladimir's Orthodox Seminary, Jordan Thomae (Locust Years) joined Jamey Bozeman (Luxury, The Barbie Stickers), Aaron Baber (Buzztown, John Doe Nation), and Doug Andrews (Fae Rae, Mantastic) to form They Sang As They Slew.
TSATS signed a 2-album deal with Northern Records and released their first full-length album Get Well in the fall of 2004. In December 2004, American webzine Somewhere Cold ranked Get Well No. 10 on their 2004 Somewhere Cold Awards Hall of Fame list. [1]
In March 2008, TSATS released The Resistance, also on Northern Records.
Hatebreed is an American metalcore band from Bridgeport, Connecticut, formed in 1994. They have released eight studio albums, most recently Weight of the False Self on November 27, 2020. Their musical style blends influences from hardcore punk and heavy metal; a prominent band within the hardcore scene, they are also considered a part of the metal scene.
Los Lonely Boys are an American power trio from San Angelo, Texas. They play a style of music they call "Texican Rock n' Roll," combining elements of rock and roll, Texas blues, brown-eyed soul, country, and Tejano.
Allister is an American pop punk band from Chicago, Illinois. The four-piece formed in 1994 when the original band members were still in high school, and was originally named Phineas Gage. In 1998 Allister became one of the first bands to sign to Drive-Thru Records. They went on hiatus in 2007, then reunited in 2010, and have been touring and recording again since. They have released six studio albums: Dead Ends and Girlfriends (1999), Last Stop Suburbia (2002), Before the Blackout (2005), Countdown to Nowhere (2010), Life Behind Machines (2012), and 20 Years and Counting (2019). The band also made a cameo appearance in the 2004 film Sleepover.
Brian James Fair is an American musician from Massachusetts, best known as lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Shadows Fall. He graduated from Milford High School in 1993, and went on to study literature at Boston University.
Nicke Andersson, is a Swedish singer, guitarist, drummer, songwriter and composer most known for his work as the singer and guitarist of the successful Grammis award-winning rock band The Hellacopters and drummer for Swedish death metal band Entombed. He has also done work as a producer as well as artwork for most of the bands he has been involved with. Besides his work with the Hellacopters, Andersson is currently the drummer and songwriter in the soul band The Solution, the death metal band Death Breath, and the hard rock band Lucifer. Andersson has been involved in well over a hundred different official releases with different bands. He is currently touring with his new project, Imperial State Electric. Andersson was also the drummer of Tiamat in 1989, who were under the name of Treblinka, but he was no longer in the group by that year and he did not record any material with them.
Robin Andrew Guthrie is a Scottish musician, songwriter, composer, record producer and audio engineer, best known as the co-founder of the alternative rock band Cocteau Twins. During his career Guthrie has performed guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums and other musical instruments, in addition to programming, sampling and sound processing.
Terror is an American heavy hardcore band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2002. They have released seven studio albums and a number of other recordings.
Jamey Johnson is an American country music artist. Signed to BNA Records in 2005, Johnson made his debut with his single "The Dollar", the title track to his 2006 album The Dollar. Johnson was dropped from BNA in 2006 and signed to Mercury Nashville Records in March 2008, releasing his second album, the gold-certified That Lonesome Song. This album produced two singles, the Top 10 hit "In Color" and "High Cost of Living". Johnson has since released two more albums, The Guitar Song in 2010 and Living for a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran in 2012. In 2014, he released a 5-song Christmas EP titled The Christmas Song. In addition to most of his own material, Johnson has co-written singles for Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, Trace Adkins, George Strait, James Otto, Joe Nichols and Jessie James Decker.
Stars of the Lid is an American ambient music duo consisting of Brian McBride and Adam Wiltzie. The duo formed in Austin, Texas in 1993, and they list among their influences minimalist and electronic composers such as Arvo Pärt, Zbigniew Preisner, Gavin Bryars, and Henryk Górecki, as well as Talk Talk, post-rock artists Labradford, and ambient innovator Brian Eno. Their compositions are largely beatless soundscapes, composed of droning, effects-treated guitars along with piano, strings, and horns; volume swells and feedback fill the gap of rhythmic instruments, providing dynamic movement. Their sound has been described as "divine, classical drone without the tedious intrusion of drums or vocals."
Windy & Carl is an American ambient group, based in Dearborn, Michigan, United States.
Mahogany are an electric music-based multidisciplinary media ensemble formed in Michigan in 1995 and currently working in Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, and other locations. The band's sound combines vocals, cello, massed guitars, pianos, melodicas, sequencers, synthesizers, samplers, tape, percussion, and other instruments. Mahogany also use film, video, animation, cinema, graphic design, photography, typography and other realization and rendering techniques for a cumulative effect that the band refers to as the "Hypercube".
"Somewhere Only We Know" is a song composed and performed by English alternative rock band Keane, officially released as the first single from their debut album, Hopes and Fears (2004). The single became one of the biggest hits of 2004 worldwide and peaking on the UK Singles Chart at number three during its first week of sale. It was also Keane's best-selling single until "Is It Any Wonder?" in 2006.
The Lassie Foundation is an indie band from Southern California. Their style has been described as "pink noise pop." They disbanded in 2006 after having released three albums as well as several EPs, but have reunited and are working on a new full-length album.
Luxury is a rock band from Toccoa, Georgia. They began playing together as The Shroud at Toccoa Falls College in the early 1990s, and changed their name to Luxury just before signing with Tooth & Nail Records and releasing their debut album, Amazing And Thankyou, which was one of the few non-hardcore releases on the label at the time.
Benighted is a French deathgrind band formed in Saint-Étienne in 1998. The group comprises vocalist Julien Truchan, guitarists Emmanuel Dalle and Fabien "Fack" Desgardins, bassist Pierre Arnoux and drummer Kevin Paradis, Benighted have released eight studio albums.

Sennen are an alternative rock band from London. Formed in Norwich, UK in 2002, the current line-up consists of Larry Holmes, Rich Kelleway, James Brown and Tim Kelleway (bass). The band's uncorrupted, oddly schizophrenic style has won them a loyal following across the world, and seen their music appear on hit US TV dramas such as True Blood and One Tree Hill.
Woods of Ypres was a Canadian doom metal band from Windsor, Ontario. The band was founded in 2002, initially consisting of three members: David Gold, Aaron Palmer and Brian McManus. Their lineup frequently changed afterward, with over 20 members in the band through its various incarnations, which saw operations later based out of Toronto from 2003–2007, and Sault Ste. Marie from 2008–2011. Their only constant member was multi-instrumentalist and frontman David Gold, with the band ending after Gold's death in December 2011, just before releasing their album Woods 5: Grey Skies & Electric Light, which won the 2013 Juno Award for the Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year.

Khors is a Ukrainian black metal and pagan metal band formed in 2004 in Kharkiv by Khorus, the former bass guitarist of Astrofaes. Stylistically Khors blends a few of metal’s sub-genres together, and also is characterized as heathen dark metal. The band recorded six full-length albums: The Flame of Eternity’s Decline (2005), Cold (2006), Mysticism (2008), Return To Abandoned (2010), Wisdom of Centuries (2012), and Night Falls Onto the Front of Ours (2015). The group keeps an active touring and performed with groups like Enslaved, Samael, Moonspell, Behemoth, Gorgoroth, Cynic, Obtest and many others. Khors has participated in a number of European festivals such as Motocultor Festival, Kilkim Žaibu, Ragnard Rock, OST, Dark Troll, Gothoom, Aurora Infernalis, Hell Fast Attack, Metal Head's Mission, Oskorei, and Carpathian Alliance.
