Thomas Floutz is an American make-up artist and special effects artist. He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Makeup and Hairstyling for the film Hellboy II: The Golden Army . [1] Floutz also won two Primetime Emmy Awards and was nominated for four more in the category Outstanding Makeup. [2]

The Academy Award for Best Picture is one of the Academy Awards presented annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) since the awards debuted in 1929. This award goes to the producers of the film and is the only category in which every member of the Academy is eligible to submit a nomination and vote on the final ballot. Produced by Universal Pictures, Relativity Media, Lawrence Gordon/Lloyd Levin Productions, and Dark Horse Entertainment, and distributed by Universal, it is a sequel to Hellboy (2004) and is the second live-action film in the franchise. Directed and written by Guillermo del Toro from a story he co-wrote with Mignola, the film stars Ron Perlman as Hellboy, alongside Selma Blair, Doug Jones, Jeffrey Tambor, and John Hurt.
