(The Tonite Show) Thuggin' & Mobbin' is the seventh studio album by rapper Yukmouth. It was released on January 12, 2010, through Smoke-a-Lot Records.
Jerold Dwight Ellis III, better known by his stage name Yukmouth, is an American rapper from East Oakland, Oakland, California. He is the founder of The Regime, Smoke-A-Lot Records and Godzilla Entertainment. He is a member of Thug Lordz with C-Bo.
Smoke-a-Lot Records, distributed by Rap-a-Lot Records, is a record label founded and owned by rapper Yukmouth and manager Kat Gaynor. The name comes from Yukmouth's Luniz nickname, "Smoke-a-Lot". The label itself is home to artists including Luniz, Dru Down, Thug Lordz, The Regime, and Yukmouth himself. It is also home to newcomers Ampichino, Nyce, Young Dru, and Marc Shyst. Attached to the label as in-house DJ is former Cali Untouchable DJ, DJ Fingaz.

Brandt Jones, better known by his stage name B-Legit, is an American rapper from Vallejo, California.
Ylvis is a Norwegian comedy duo consisting of brothers Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker. They debuted as professional variety artists in 2000 and have since appeared in several countries in variety shows, comedy concerts, television shows, radio shows and music videos. They are currently the hosts of the Norwegian talk show I kveld med Ylvis. Their song and music video "The Fox ", written and filmed for the talk show, went viral on YouTube in September 2013, with over 800 million views as of November 2018. They released an album called Ylvis: Volume I, a compilation of ten older singles.
Souls on Ice is the third and final studio album by American rapper Seagram. It was released posthumously on August 12, 1997, by Rap-A-Lot/Noo Trybe Records, a year after Seagram's passing. Seagram was murdered by gunfire on July 31, 1996, while shielding his long-time friend Gangsta P.

Enemy of the State was C-Bo's first album on his new label, West Coast Mafia, after leaving AWOL Records, which he did after the release of Til My Casket Drops. The album features guest performances by WC, Daz Dillinger, Killa Tay, Yukmouth, CJ Mac and Too Short. Along with a single, a music video was produced for the song, "Get The Money".

"Tonite" is a song by American rapper and producer DJ Quik, released as the second single from his debut studio album Quik Is the Name. The song contains samples from "Tonight" performed by Kleeer, "Tonight Is the Night" performed by Betty Wright and "Last Night Changed It All " performed by Esther Williams. Complex deemed it the 44th best of "The Best L.A. Rap Songs". The synthesizer part was programmed by LA Dream Team's former producer The Real Richie Rich.

Marqus Brown, known as DJ Fresh is an American hip hop producer based in Oakland and Los Angeles, California. Acclaim for his work includes being named to XXL magazine's 30 Best Hip-Hop Producers of 2016. In 2006 DJ Fresh began releasing his The Tonite Show series of albums, which have featured artists such as Yukmouth and Raekwon. He has also released a number of mixtapes and has produced albums for other artists. His 2013 collaboration with J. Stalin, Miracle & Nightmare on 10th Street, peaked at #61 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and at #28 on the Heatseekers Albums chart.
King Foxx, also known as King Foxx: Rule By Decree, is the third mixtape released by American rapper Tiffany Foxx. It was released on June 16, 2014 through the record label International Rock Star. King Foxx is a Southern hip hop and trap mixtape. The lead single "Young N Thuggin", featuring Pusha T, Young Thug, and Chubbie Baby, was released on March 10, 2014. Foxx promoted "FuckUThought" and "Bet It" through music videos. In a 2015 interview, Foxx announced plans for a reissue entitled King Foxx: Extra Clip. Reception of King Foxx was positive. Some critics have compared Foxx's rapping style to other artists.

The two formed MadGibbs in late 2011 and have since released four extended plays (EPs) under that alias, and later a debut studio album in 2014, credited as separate artists as Freddie Gibbs & Madlib. A music video for the song was also premiered on the same day. The song peaked at number 191 in France and number 33 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart. At the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, the song won the award for Best Dance Recording, making it the band's first Grammy win.
