Tiago dos Santos e Silva (born April 12, 1987) is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competed in the Featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Starting his career in 2009, Trator compiled a 18–4–1 (1) record fighting mostly for regional Brazilian promotions, winning the Vacant Jungle Fight Lightweight Championship in the process. [2]
Tiago made his promotional debut against Akbarh Arreola dos Santos on July 26, 2014 at UFC on Fox 12. [3] He won the fight via unanimous decision. [4]
Trator faced Mike De La Torre on February 22, 2015 at UFC Fight Night 61. [5] Trator lost the fight via TKO in the first round. [6]
Trator faced Clay Collard on September 5, 2015 at UFC 191 as an injury replacement for Andre Fili. [7] Trator won the fight by split decision. [8]
Trator faced promotional newcomer Shane Burgos on December 9, 2016 at UFC Fight Night 102 against Tiago Trator. [9] He lost the fight by unanimous decision. [10]
He was released from the UFC sometime in 2017.
After his release from the UFC, Trator lost all of his three fights, with the most memorable loss coming at ACB 67 to Rasul Shovhalov by TKO. [11]
