The Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club is a polo club near Beijing, China.
Polo is a horseback mounted team sport. It is one of the world's oldest known team sports.

The club has hosted 16-goal international tournaments. It has organized chukkers with the Federation of International Polo and the Chinese State General Administration of Sports. Argentine player Pablo Jauretche and Australian Glen Gilmore have played there. It has also hosted the Snow Polo World Cup, which was shown live on TVB.
The Federation of International Polo is the international federation representing the sport of polo, officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee. It was founded in 1982 by representatives of eleven national polo associations, and currently represents the national polo associations of more than 90 countries. FIPs principal aim is to enhance the image and status of the great game of polo internationally.
Glen Gilmore is a 7-goal Australian professional polo player. Gilmore has held the captaincy of the Australian polo team for the last 10 years and has represented his country at the Cartier International day gaining wins in 2003 and 2005.
From October 1 to October 5, 2013, it hosted the Super Nations Cup. On October 1, the English team beat the USA team 14-13. The following day, on October 2, the Hong Kong, China team won 10-9 against the Argentine team. In the Round Subsidiary final on October 4, the USA team (Mike Azzaro, Nic Roldan, Tomas Collingwood and Ulysses Escapite) won 13-8 against the Argentine team (Martin Pepa, Mariano Obregon, Michel Dorignac and Martin Donovan). In the final match on October 5, the Hong Kong China team (John-Paul Clarkin, John-Paul Ganon and Dirk Gould) won 11-7 against the English team (Luke Tomlinson, Mark Tomlinson, Nacho Gonzalez and Henry Fisher).
Mike Azzaro is an American professional polo player from San Antonio, Texas. Azzaro's current handicap is 6 goals, but he held the sport's highest handicap of 10 goals for over ten years. Azzaro was awarded Polo Magazine's Polo Excellence Award for Young Player of the Year in 1987 and 1990, and the award for Player of the Year in 1994. Known for his aggressive forward style of play, he has always been a crowd favorite. Playing with five-time Player of the Year winner Memo Gracida, they formed one of the most powerful duos in polo. Azzaro and Gracida both reside in Wellington, Florida.

Waisale Tikoisolomoni Serevi is a Fijian former rugby union football player and coach, and is a member of the World Rugby Hall of Fame. Serevi is renowned for his achievements in rugby sevens, while also enjoying a long career in fifteen-a-side rugby at both club and national team levels. Nicknamed "The Wizard" by commentators, he is widely considered to be the greatest rugby sevens player in the history of the game. A biography of Serevi titled Waisale Serevi: King of Sevens by Nick Darvenzi was published in 2018.

The competition was held between May and July 2018 and the final round took place in the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, Nanjing, China.
