The cover art of "Ring the Alarm" proved controversial because Knowles used alligators during the photography session. PETA declared that Knowles' posing with a baby alligator was arguably abusive to an animal.

Chayanne is the fourth studio album recorded by Puerto Rican performer Chayanne, It was released by CBS Discos on November 22, 1988. This album is the second released under the Sony record label, after the successful, also self-titled, previous album. In 2018, Juber won two BMI awards for her work co-writing "Mercy" by Shawn Mendes and "In the Name of Love" by Martin Garrix and Bebe Rexha. Later in 2020, Juber wrote "This Is Us" for Jimmie Allen and Noah Cyrus, who performed their duet at the 2020 CMT Music Awards. Koryn Mattanah Hawthorne is an American contemporary Christian music and gospel singer. Hawthorne was a finalist in season 8 of NBC's singing competition The Voice, at the age of 17, as a member on Pharrell Williams's team. After placing fourth on the show, Hawthorne got signed to RCA Inspiration, a division of Sony Music dedicated to gospel music recordings. Blige, Macy Gray, and Meghan Trainor, among others. In 2021, Atterberry co-wrote Demi Lovato single "Dancing With The Devil", which charted on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as three additional album cuts from album Dancing with the Devil... the Art of Starting Over.
