Tigist Memuye Gebeyahu (born 26 October 1994) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner specializing in marathon events. She is best known for winning the 2021 Paris Marathon and the 2024 Milan Marathon. She holds a personal best of 2:24:23 in the marathon and trains alongside notable athletes, including former world record-holder Tigst Assefa. [1]
Memuye began her international career with strong performances in shorter road races, setting a 10-kilometre personal best of 33:55 in 2018. [2]
In May 2021, she achieved a personal best in the marathon, finishing in 2:24:23 at an event in Geneva.
