Jochem Simon Uytdehaage is a Dutch former long track speed skater who won two Olympic gold medals in Salt Lake City and was the 2002 World Allround champion. He retired in 2007 at the age of 30, following two consecutive seasons of poor results.
Tom Prinsen is a Dutch former long track speedskater who specialised in the longer distances. In 2003 he became Dutch neo junior champion. By beating Postma, Romme and Ritsma in a skateoff, he qualified himself for the World Championship of 2004 in Hamar, Norway. He ended in sixth place.
Robert Rintje Ritsma is a Dutch former long track speed skater. His nickname is the Beer van Lemmer, which translates to the "Bear from Lemmer", analogous to Igor Zhelezovski's nickname "The Bear from Minsk", both of which are in reference to their imposing physical appearance.

The 2022 KNSB Dutch Sprint Championships in speed skating were held in Heerenveen at the Thialf ice skating rink from 22 January to 23 January 2022. The tournament was part of the 2021–2022 speed skating season. Tijmen Snel and Michelle de Jong won the sprint titles. The sprint championships were held at the same time as the 2022 KNSB Dutch Allround Championships.
