Tim Batt (born 19 August, 1987 [1] ) is a New Zealand-based comedian and podcaster. He co-hosts The Worst Idea of All Time podcast with fellow NZ comedian Guy Montgomery and was nominated for a Billy T Award in 2014 and 2015.
Batt grew up in Christchurch, New Zealand and later spent time in Wellington, and then Auckland. Before comedy, he worked in radio and call centers. [2] Batt attended Cobham Intermediate School, and was a contemporary of acclaimed singer and UNICEF ambassador Hayley Westenra, the two appearing together in school productions.
Batt's first appearance on TV was in 2014, on the TVNZ U show U LATE with future collaborator Guy Montgomery, where he appeared as a "pathetic but upbeat" public bathroom reviewer. [3] After the channel shut down, the two decided to start a small project together, which turned into the podcast The Worst Idea of All Time, a podcast where every season the duo rewatch and review the same film weekly for a year. Based on the success of the podcast, Batt launched a podcast network, Little Empire Network. The network features podcasts by fellow comedians such as Rose Matafeo and Nic Sampson. [3]
Batt hosted TVNZ Duke chat show Banter in 2017. In 2019, he hosted a chat/sketch show hybrid with cohost Luke Rowell called Space Couch. [4] In 2020, Montgomery and Batt were tapped to film a pilot for a TV show for YouTube Red. The pilot involved the two attempting to take a method approach to film reviewing by watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows while living in an abandoned subway station in New York City and eating nothing but pizza. [5] The show was not greenlit for a series.

He received a Grammy Award nomination for Paper Tiger, as well as a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the dark comedy series Immoral Compass (2021–present). In 2017, Rolling Stone ranked him at No. 17 on their list of the "50 Best Stand-Up Comics of All Time".
Rhys Montague Darby is a New Zealand actor and comedian, known for his energetic physical comedy routines, telling stories accompanied with mime and sound effects of things such as machinery and animals. He was nominated for the Billy T Award in 2001 and 2002. He also won the 2012 Fred (Dagg) award at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, for best NZ show.

Maximum Fun is an independent, worker owned cooperative podcast and radio show production organization founded by Jesse Thorn. The organization originated with Thorn's college radio show The Sound of Young America which continued in an adapted format and with a new name, Bullseye with Jesse Thorn. David Geoffrey Earl is a British actor and comedian, best known for his comedy character Brian Gittins. Rose Matafeo is a New Zealand comedian, actress and TV presenter. She was a writer and performer on the New Zealand late-night comedy sketch show Funny Girls. In 2018, she won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for her show Horndog.

Taskmaster is a British comedy panel game show created by comedian and musician Alex Horne and presented by both Horne and Greg Davies. In the programme, a group of five celebrities – mainly comedians – attempt to complete a series of challenges, with Horne acting as umpire in each challenge and Davies, the titular "Taskmaster", judging the work and awarding points based on contestants' performances. The concept for the programme was first created by Horne for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010; he later secured a deal with Dave to adapt it for television with the first episode premiering in 2015. After the ninth series in 2019, the programme was acquired by Channel 4. The programme has completed sixteen series as well as three Champion of Champions specials and four New Year's Treat one-offs by January 2024, and is set to continue for at least five more series until 2026.

Lussenhop is best known for his work as a hype man and sidekick as a member of "The Trinity" on Office Hours Live. He is also widely recognized as the editor for Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, which prominently features his trademark editing style. Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont-Spelling Bee is a New Zealand television comedy panel show on Three created and presented by Guy Montgomery and co-hosted by Sanjay Patel. The show is loosely based on a spelling bee: each episode, four comedians participate in a series of rounds, where the goal is almost always to spell words or names in rounds that are "designed to be infuriating to take part in and entertaining to watch". The winner of each episode competes again the following week, and the loser of each episode must wear a dunce cap in the Dunce's Corner.
'Til Death Do Us Blart is an annual podcast which centres around the hosts watching and reviewing Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 once a year for the rest of time. The show has been running since 2015, with new episodes released every American Thanksgiving.
