April M. Coates is an Australian singer, songwriter and producer who performs as Cheyne Coates or Cheyne. Coates and Andrew Van Dorsselaer comprised the duo Madison Avenue (1998–2003). Their song "Don't Call Me Baby" peaked at number two on the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Singles Chart in 1999 and topped the charts in New Zealand and the United Kingdom in 2000, as well as the Billboard dance charts the United States. Since the break-up of Madison Avenue in 2003, Cheyne recorded an album, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and its first single "I've Got Your Number" which reached No. 26 in 2004.
Inaya Day is an American singer, best known for her vocal work on house music tracks such as "Horny '98" by Mousse T, and her cover version of "Nasty Girl" by Prince protégées Vanity 6.
Moloko were an Irish-English electronic music duo formed in Sheffield, England, consisting of vocalist Róisín Murphy and producer Mark Brydon. Blending elements of electronica and dance music, they are best known for their UK top 10 singles "The Time Is Now" (2000) and "Familiar Feeling" (2003), as well as the 1999 Boris Dlugosch remix of "Sing It Back" which became an international hit.

Prince gave the songwriting credit to lead singer Vanity, although he was the writer and composer. Inaya Day recorded a hit cover version of the song in 2004 that reached number nine in the UK Singles Chart. There have also been several other versions of this song.

Second Skin is a remix album by Australian musicians John Course & mrTimothy, best known for their Ministry Of Sound compilations. The album, featuring Katie Noonan's vocals, is a remix project from her 2007 album Skin.
"I Am tha 1" is a song credited to Mr Timothy featuring Inaya Day. The song was released in July 2004 as the lead single from Mr Timothy's debut studio album This Is Tha 1. The song peaked at number 28 on the ARIA Charts.
