Timothy Plough (PLOW; born June 24, 1985) is an American college football coach and former player. He is head football coach for the University of California, Davis (UC Davis), a position he has held since December 2023. A former quarterback at UC Davis, Plough was considered to be one of the rising assistant coaches in college football, having received a "35 under 35" award from the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) in 2019. Playing career

Plough was a quarterback at UC Davis from 2003 to 2007, appearing in only 16 games due to a number of injuries he suffered throughout his college career. [3]

Coaching career

Plough began his coaching career at his alma mater, UC Davis, as a student assistant in 2008 before being elevated to quarterbacks coach in 2009. He added the title of passing game coordinator in 2010, and was given offensive play-calling duties at the age of 25. [4] Plough spent three seasons with the Aggies before departing for Northern Arizona in 2013 to be the Lumberjacks' wide receivers coach. [5] He was promoted to offensive coordinator and reassigned to quarterbacks coach in 2015, where the Lumberjacks led the nation in quarterback efficiency as their starter Case Cookus won the STATS FCS Freshman Player of the Year award. Plough left Northern Arizona to return to UC Davis in 2017 as their offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, where the Aggies had a top 10 passing offense in all three of the seasons in which Plough was offensive coordinator. Plough was named the offensive coordinator at Boise State in 2021. [8] Plough was fired from his position on September 24, 2022 by Boise State head coach Andy Avalos. Dirk Koetter replaced him. [9] Plough was hired as a tight end coach at California on December 12, 2022. [10]

On December 1, 2023, Plough was hired by his alma mater, UC Davis, to become their head football coach. [11]

Khari Okang Jones is a former professional Canadian football player and was most recently the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach for the Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was formerly the head coach for the Montreal Alouettes. He is also a former television sports reporter for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Jones played quarterback in the CFL, where he enjoyed his most success with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Jones also played briefly for the Arena Football League's Albany Firebirds and the World League of American Football's Scottish Claymores. He has also been the offensive coordinator for the BC Lions and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football team represents the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa in NCAA Division I FBS college football. Bryan Dale Harsin is an American football coach who was most recently the head coach for the Auburn Tigers. Prior to coaching at Auburn, he coached the Boise State University Broncos from the 2014 season through the 2020 season where he posted a 69–19 overall record. He began his head coaching career at Arkansas State University for the 2013 season. Harsin was the co-offensive coordinator at the University of Texas for two seasons. Before leaving for Texas in 2011, Harsin was an assistant at Boise State for 10 seasons, the last five as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Matthew Scribner Wells is an American college football coach and former quarterback. He is the associate head coach, co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Kansas State University. Wells previously served as offensive coordinator and then head coach at Utah State University, where he was named Mountain West Conference coach of the year in 2013 and 2018. Wells was named head football coach at Texas Tech University on November 29, 2018, and led the team until his firing midway through the 2021 season. He also served as an offensive analyst at the University of Oklahoma under head coach Brent Venables during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
