Timeless is the debut EP by American rock band Of Mice & Men. It was released on February 26, 2021, through SharpTone Records. The EP was produced by the band themselves and it is their first release with the label. [2] [3] It is the first part of their so called "EP Trilogy". [4] [5]
On January 13, 2021, the band revealed that they had parted ways with Rise Records and signed with SharpTone Records. At the same time, they released a new single "Obsolete" and announced the EP itself, the EP cover, the track list, and release date. [6] [7] On January 18, Pauley announced via Twitter that this would be the first of three EPs released in the year. [8] [9] On February 10, two weeks before the EP release, the band released the title track "Timeless". [10] [11]

The EP received generally positive reviews from critics. Dead Press! gave the EP a positive review saying: "A tightly written and deliciously heavy collection of tracks, Timeless is a welcome addition to their catalogue and one that will ultimately satisfy fans. With the brief runtime helping the release, Of Mice & Men have set the bar high for the EPs that are set to follow throughout 2021." [12] Distorted Sound stated that "Sometimes it's just nice to hear a band at the height of their powers doing what they do best. Either way, Timeless marks a solid first entry to OF MICE & MEN's 2021 trilogy, and a record that should have listeners eagerly looking to the next one." [13]
Kerrang! was a little less positive stating, "It's by no means the best you'll ever hear from OMM, but then that's not the point here, is it? And anyway, it's still good stuff. One might think of these tracks as a punchbag, a way of staying in shape while you may otherwise lose your gains during downtime. And who knows, once they bed in a bit, when OMM finally play them live, they might have turned into a knockout." [14] Rock 'N' Load praised the EP saying, "Timeless is a great EP, filled with fantastic musicianship and ideas that merge the band's history with their evolved sound. Following Earthandsky was never going to be an easy job for the band to complete, but this EP is a great step in once again further developing as musicians in a genre that is massively overflowing with competition for the spotlight. My one genuine issue with this EP is the length, being only three tracks in length, I found myself only being truly pulled into the experience by track 3. While wanting more of something is never a bad thing, in the case of Timeless I want more because it feels like something is missing. Overall the EP is yet another fantastic release, I just wish it was slightly longer." [1]

Obsolete is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Fear Factory, released on July 28, 1998, through Roadrunner Records. It was produced by Fear Factory, Greg Reely and Rhys Fulber, the latter of whom wrote, arranged and performed all of the album's keyboard parts, and was the band's first full album to feature bassist Christian Olde Wolbers, who performed on around half of the tracks of the band's previous album Demanufacture (1995).
Bullet for My Valentine, often abbreviated as BFMV, are a Welsh heavy metal band from Bridgend, formed in 1998. The band is currently composed of Matthew Tuck, Michael Paget, Jason Bowld (drums) and Jamie Mathias. Former members include Michael Thomas, Jason James and Nick Crandle; the latter were on bass. They were formed under the name Jeff Killed John and started their music career by covering songs by Metallica and Nirvana. Jeff Killed John recorded six songs which were not released; two of these tracks were reworked later in their career as Bullet for My Valentine. A change of style from that of Jeff Killed John led the band to change their name. In 2002, the band secured a five-album deal with Sony BMG. The band has stated that their music is influenced by classic metal acts such as Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer. The band is part of the Cardiff music scene.

The group currently consists of lead vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish. They are signed to RCA Records globally and Columbia Records exclusively in the United States.
Of Mice & Men is an American rock band formed in Costa Mesa, California, in 2009. The band's line-up currently consists of drummer Valentino Arteaga, guitarists Phil Manansala and Alan Ashby, and bassist and lead vocalist Aaron Pauley. The group was founded by former lead vocalist Austin Carlile and former bassist Jaxin Hall in mid-2009 after Carlile's departure from Attack Attack!. Carlile departed from the band in December 2016 citing that a long-term health condition prompted his exit. After Carlile's departure, the band continued to pursue creating music with Pauley as the band's bassist and lead vocalist.
Jamie's Elsewhere are an American post-hardcore band formed in Sacramento, California, United States, in 2005. They were signed to Victory Records before deciding not to renew their contract with the label, and have released three full-length albums; Guidebook for Sinners Turned Saints in 2008, They Said a Storm Was Coming in 2010 and Rebel-Revive in 2014.
Like Moths to Flames is an American metalcore band from Columbus, Ohio, formed in 2010 by former members of various bands, including Emarosa, Agraceful, the Crimson Armada, and My Ticket Home. The band has released four studio albums and three EPs through Rise Records. The band's current line-up consists of lead vocalist Chris Roetter, guitarist Zach Pishney, and drummer Roman Garcia. Roetter is the only member of the original line-up that remains in the band.
While She Sleeps are a British metalcore band from Sheffield. Formed in 2006, the group consists of vocalist Lawrence Taylor, guitarists Sean Long and Mat Welsh, bassist Aaran McKenzie and drummer Adam Savage. They are currently signed to their own label Sleeps Brothers in the UK and in collaboration with Spinefarm Records in the US and UNFD in Australia. Crossfaith is a Japanese metalcore band from Osaka that was formed in 2006. Since its formation, the band has retained the same line-up with no member changes, which currently consists of vocalist Kenta Koie, guitarist Kazuki Takemura, bassist Hiroki Ikegawa, drummer Tatsuya Amano and keyboardist Terufumi Tamano. They are characterized by performing a style of metalcore with dubstep and other forms of electronic music influences, and for their intense live performances.
"Helplessly Hoping" is a 1969 song by the American folk rock group Crosby, Stills, and Nash written by Stephen Stills, and using both alliteration and wordplay in its lyrics. They recorded the song at Wally Heider's Studio 3, Hollywood in December 1968 during their first recording session as a group, with producer Paul Rothchild. The song was first released by Atlantic Records on Crosby, Stills, and Nash's eponymous debut album on May 29, 1969. In June 1969, they released it as the B-side of their debut single "Marrakesh Express".
Restoring Force is the third studio album by American rock band Of Mice & Men. This is the band's first album to feature bassist and clean vocalist Aaron Pauley. It was released on January 24, 2014, in Europe and Australia, January 27, 2014, in Japan and the UK and January 28, 2014, in the US through Rise Records. It was produced by David Bendeth. A deluxe edition of the album, titled Restoring Force: Full Circle, was released on February 20, 2015. It featured four bonus tracks, including an acoustic version of "Feels Like Forever".

The band consists of guitarists Pat Sheridan, Will Putney and Tim Howley, drummer Josean Orta, vocalist Joe Badolato, and bassist Peter "Blue" Spinazola. They are currently signed to Nuclear Blast and have released six studio albums since formation.

The label was founded by Nuclear Blast CEO Markus Staiger and former vice president of Sumerian Records Shawn Keith. Earthandsky is the sixth studio album by American rock band Of Mice & Men. It was released on September 27, 2019, through Rise Records. The album was produced by Josh Wilbur and is the follow-up to the group's fifth album, Defy (2018). It is their last album to be released on this label before the band signed to SharpTone Records in 2021. It sold 4,000 copies in the US in its first week.
