Timken High School was a high school in Canton, Ohio. Timken participated in the Principals Athletic Conference (PAC-7/8), before they were absorbed by Canton McKinley in 2015.
Timken Vocational High School was built in the 1930s by a donation from the Timken Foundation to the city of Canton, Ohio. As part of the Canton City School District with four quadrants and three district high schools, students could choose to take a test and enter a vocational program at Timken from any of the quadrants. Students were given opportunity to explore several occupational experiences during their Sophomore year. Their Junior and Senior year was spent in their choice of vocational program. For many years, the Timken Company hired the highest achieving Seniors and graduates from Secretarial Class, the Machine Shop, Electric Shop, Data Processing, and Welding Shop.
In 1976 the city consolidated their high schools and Timken was no longer a specialized vocational high school. The name was changed to Timken Senior High School. The school colors were blue and gold. The mascot was a Trojan.
The Timken Foundation generously contributed again in 1997 to the enhancement of the high school, and Stark State College joined the campus to provide early college classes. Students from the county can apply to attend early college classes, allowing students to earn an associate degree alongside their high school diploma.
In 1997, Timken High School received a US$10 million grant from the Timken Foundation, the largest grant to date to a single public high school.[ citation needed ]
On February 25, 2015, Canton City Schools approved the merger of Canton McKinley High School and Timken High School, giving Canton a single high school for the first time since 1937. Freshmen of the merged schools attend the Freshman Academy in the current Timken High School, while grades 10–12 attend the senior high school in the current McKinley building. The remaining high school retains the McKinley name, mascot, and colors. [1]

Michael Allen Doss is an American former football safety who played in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons. He played college football for The Ohio State University, earned consensus All-American honors, and was a member of a national championship team. The Indianapolis Colts chose him in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft, and he played professionally for the Colts, Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL. Doss was a member of the Colts Super Bowl XLI team in its 2007 win over the Chicago Bears.

Wapakoneta High School (WHS), is a public high school located in Wapakoneta, Ohio, United States. Founded in 1904, it is one of four schools that make up the Wapakoneta City School District. The high school building is located on the north side of Wapakoneta, near the downtown area. Athletic teams are known as the "Redskins", with school colors of red and white. The school's enrollment is 1,160 students in grades 8 through 12. The current building opened in 1990. The former high school was adapted as the current Wapakoneta Middle School. Prior to 1956, the district's high school, built in 1908, was known as Blume High School.
Garland A. Rivers is a former professional American football defensive back who was drafted in the 1987 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played briefly for the Chicago Bears in the 1987 NFL season after having starred as an All-American for the Michigan Wolverines football team for whom he set the single-game tackles record as a sophomore. This record still stands. After returning to the University of Michigan to complete his bachelor's degree, he returned to professional football for several seasons in the Arena Football League. However, before returning to professional football he became embroiled in a scandal involving sports agents engaging amateur athletes.

Estacado Early College High School is a 4A public high school serving grades 9 through 12 in Lubbock, Texas, (USA). It is part of the Lubbock Independent School District. Estacado is a magnet school, with programs in medicine, law and criminal justice, engineering, and JROTC. As of August 2016, Estacado High School became Estacade Early College High School, due to the partnership with Texas Tech University. Students, starting in the ninth grade, will be able to earn up to 60 hours of college dual credit hours.

Mahaffey Park was a baseball and football field in Canton, Ohio. It was the home of the professional football team called the Canton Bulldogs, which operated off and on during the first quarter of the 20th Century. It was also used for baseball from time to time, including as a semi-neutral site by the Cleveland Indians during 1902 and 1903.
The Youngstown City Series was an OHSAA athletic conference that began play in 1925 and lasted until the end of the 2006–07 school year. Its members were located in the city of Youngstown, Ohio, although membership was eventually extended to Timken High School in Canton, Ohio. Some of the schools closed during the league's tenure, while the rest left prior to the closings or at the league's demise.
