The Tobago Cycling Classic is a one-day road bicycle race held annually in Tobago, the smaller of the two main islands that make up the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, in the Caribbean.
Created in 1986, at the beginning of October, for many years the race only featured local cyclists, but in 2000 opened to international riders. Formerly a stage race, since 2011 the race has been included on the UCI America Tour's calendar, carrying a one-day UCI rating of 1.2, and is also referred to as Tobago International.
Trinidad is the larger and more populous of the two major islands of Trinidad and Tobago. The island lies 11 km (6.8 mi) off the northeastern coast of Venezuela and sits on the continental shelf of South America. It is often referred to as the southernmost island in the West Indies. With an area of 4,768 km2 (1,841 sq mi), it is also the fifth largest in the West Indies.

Until the independence of Guyana in 1966, it competed as British Guiana. They qualified for the Caribbean Nations Cup in 1991, coming fourth, and in 2007. Trinidad and Tobago Newsday is a daily newspaper in Trinidad and Tobago. Newsday is the newest of the three daily papers after the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian and the Trinidad and Tobago Express respectively. The newspaper was founded in 1993 by Daniel Chookolingo, Therese Mills became the first editor-in-chief she was the former editor-in-chief of the Guardian. Newsday bills itself as "The People's Newspaper". The week-end edition is known as the Saturday Newsday.
Emile Abraham is a professional cyclist from Trinidad and Tobago. He won the silver medal in the men's individual road race at the 2007 Pan American Games, just behind Dominican Republic's Wendy Cruz. In 2017 he won the USA Masters National road cycling championships and a bronze medal in the Masters World Track Championships in the points race in Los Angeles.
Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Authority (TTCAA) is a government agency of Trinidad and Tobago, serving as that country's civil aviation authority. Its head office is in Piarco, in a complex located on the southern side of Piarco International Airport. Its previous head office was on the second floor of the PSA Building in Port of Spain.

Njisane Nicholas Phillip is a former Trinidadian track cyclist active from 2010 until 2019. Born in Siparia, he competed for Trinidad and Tobago at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he achieved a fourth place finish in the individual sprint, as well as at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. and at several Pan American Games and Championships. In the latter, he was the 2012 Pan American Championships sprint champion.
Edwin Alcibiades Ávila Vanegas is a Colombian road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Burgos BH. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's team pursuit for the national team. He won the Colombian National Road Race Championships in 2016.

Teniel Campbell is a racing cyclist from Trinidad and Tobago, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam Team Jayco–AlUla. In 2018, she won four medals at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games. The next year, she won the U23 individual time trial at the Pan American Road and Track Championships. She also won both stages, the general classification, the points classification and the youth classification in the Kreiz Breizh Elites Dames.
