The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) is a national research university located in Daedeok Innopolis, Daejeon, South Korea. KAIST was established by the Korean government in 1971 as the nation's first public, research-oriented science and engineering institution. KAIST is considered to be one of the most prestigious universities in the nation. KAIST has been internationally accredited in business education, and hosts the Secretariat of the Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS). Public Administration or Public Policy and Administration is the implementation of public policy, administration of government establishment, and management of non-profit establishment. It is also a subfield of political science taught in public policy school that studies this implementation and prepares people, especially civil servants in administrative positions, for working in the public sector, voluntary sector, or some industries in the private sector dealing with government relations, regulatory affairs, legislative assistance, corporate social responsibility (CSR), environmental, social, governance (ESG), public procurement (PP), public-private partnerships (P3), and business-to-government marketing/sales (B2G), as well as those working at think tanks, non-profit organizations, consulting firms, trade associations, or in other positions that use similar skills found in public administration.
Instituts d'études politiques, or IEPs, are ten publicly owned institutions of higher learning in France. A public policy school is typically a university program, institution, or professional school that teaches students policy analysis, program evaluation, policy studies, public policy, political economy, urban planning, public administration, international relations, security studies, nonprofit studies-nonprofit management, political science, urban studies, intelligence studies, global studies, emergency management, public affairs and/or public management. Public policy schools typically train students in two streams. David John Farmer is a professor emeritus of philosophy and public affairs in the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is best known for his publications on post-traditional governance theory and practice – especially on macro public administration and public policy. He has also published on the philosophy and foundations of economics, on the metaphysics of time and on criminal justice policy and management. Post-traditional conceptual approaches analyzed in his writings include thinking as play, justice as seeking, practice as art, reflexive language, imaginization, anti-administration, deterritorialization, and epistemic pluralism.
Government competitiveness is a state capacity concept created by Tobin Im, a scholar of public administration and a professor at the Graduate School of Public Administration at Seoul National University. Since 2011, Center for Government Competitiveness (CGC) at Seoul National University has developed the Government Competitiveness (GC) index which evaluates government achievements in the various fields and furthermore provides policy recommendations to increase competitiveness of government in the future.
Pan Suk Kim is a South Korean professor in the field of public administration. He is currently a commission member of the International Civil Service Commission of the United Nations and the International Director of the American Society for Public Administration. He was an assistant professor of public administration in the School of Public Service at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia from 1991 to 1994. Kim is currently a professor emeritus of Public Administration in the Department of Global Public Administration, Yonsei University, Mirae Campus in South Korea.

Shi-Chul Lee is a professor and university administrator in South Korea. He was a two-time Fulbright Visiting Fellow, affiliated with Yale University (2017–18) and with the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2009–10). He is the previous Executive Vice President of Kyungpook National University (KNU), South Korea's largest national university. Currently, he is a professor in the KNU School of Public Administration.
