Stars on 45 was a Dutch novelty pop act that was briefly very popular throughout Europe and in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia in 1981. The group later shortened its name to Stars On in the U.S., while in the U.K. and Ireland it was known as Starsound. The band, which consisted solely of studio session musicians under the direction of Jaap Eggermont, formerly of Golden Earring, popularized medley recordings made by recreating hit songs as faithfully as possible and joining them together with a common tempo and underlying drum track.

An extended version was also released as a DVD, entitled One Night Only: The Greatest Hits Live at Madison Square Garden. The title is "one night only" because the recording equipment failed to tape most of the audio from the first night, leaving only the second night to be recorded as an album. In the US, it was certified gold in July 2001 by the RIAA.
"Eleanor Put Your Boots On" is a song by Scottish indie rock band Franz Ferdinand. It was released as the fourth single from their second album, You Could Have It So Much Better, on 17 July 2006. The single version of the song is a new version that was recorded in Benton Harbor, Michigan during their 2006 tour with Death Cab for Cutie. Promotion for the single included two videos: one for "Eleanor Put Your Boots On" and one for B-side Wine in the Afternoon, making the B-side a video-clip-only single. It reached the #30 spot in the UK charts and #17 in Scotland.
