The Toledo Correctional Institution (ToCI) is a state prison for men located in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, owned and operated by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
The facility was opened in 2000, and houses approximately 750 maximum security inmates. The Toledo Correctional Institution houses Protective Custody inmates Level 3 and above, Level 4 offenders, and ERH1, ERH2, and ERH 3 level inmates. ERH is the highest security levels in Ohio. John Putnam, who participated in the special forces rescue of captured Private First Class Jessica Lynch in Iraq, assisted in the development of the outer security barriers. [1]

The Lebanon Correctional Institution is a prison in the United States operated by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction in Warren County's Turtlecreek Township, about four miles west of Lebanon and two miles east of Monroe and about 32 miles north of Cincinnati, Ohio on State Route 63. It is immediately adjacent to another state prison, the Warren Correctional Institution, and was built in the 1950s on land purchased by the state when the Shaker settlement at Union Village closed in 1912.

Ross Correctional Institution (RCI) is an Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) close security state prison for men located in Union Township, Ross County, Ohio, near Chillicothe, Ohio, adjacent to the medium-security Chillicothe Correctional Institution and the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park. First opened in 1987, Ross houses 2,037 inmates. The institution covers 1,707 acres and employed over 350 security staff. As of January 6, 2016, there are 2085 inmates at the institution. Around 56% of the inmate population are classified as African American, 43% classified as Caucasian, and 0.01% classified as other. As of 2016, ODRC estimates that the daily cost for each inmate is $51.77. In January, 2024, the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction announced it would be moving men's death row from Chillicothe Correctional Institution to Ross Correctional Institution.
