Sveriges Television AB, shortened to SVT, is the Swedish national public television broadcaster, funded by a public service tax on personal income set by the Riksdag. Prior to 2019, SVT was funded by a television licence fee payable by all owners of television sets. The Swedish public broadcasting system is largely modelled after the system used in the United Kingdom, and Sveriges Television shares many traits with its British counterpart, the BBC.

Soran Ismail, is a Swedish Kurdish comedian, TV personality and author of Kurdish descent who as an immigrant grew up in Knivsta, Uppsala County and lived most of his life in Sweden. He is well known for his participation in several TV and radio shows with a humour profile and has toured Sweden together with Magnus Betnér with a show called En skam för Sverige. His various television projects include the documentary Absolut svensk where he examines ethnic identity and every day racism in Sweden. This is also the title of his book released in 2017.
Elisabet Höglund is a Swedish author and political journalist, working in Swedish television and radio as a reporter. She started her career at SVT, later becoming a freelance journalist. She has written a number of books including an autobiography, and has organised many exhibitions of her own paintings; she is also a former road bicycle racer. She competed in Let's Dance during 2009 on TV4, teaming up with professional dancer Tobias Karlsson. Höglund and Karlsson placed fourth in the competition.

Jordskott is a Swedish TV thriller, crime drama series. Police detective Eva Thörnblad investigates the disappearance of her daughter and other mysteries in her hometown of Silverhöjd. The title refers to jordskott, a fictional plant parasite, which enhances one's perceptions but feeds off the host's blood. The series was first broadcast by SVT in 2015. Filming took place in Sala and Ragunda in mid-2014. The series then began broadcasting on ITV Encore in the UK on June 10, 2015, and on Canal+ Seriale in Poland on October 10, 2016.
Clara Susanna Henry is a Swedish actress, blogger, comedian, television presenter and author. She has approximately 430,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel and hosts her own talk show on Swedish TV station Kanal 5. She has also been a backstage reporter at two editions of the national-level music competition Melodifestivalen, produced by the broadcasting company SVT.
Per Kristofer Sinding-Larsen is a Swedish grammy awarded journalist, television presenter and singer. He is most known for presenting the music show Studio Pop which was broadcast on SVT and a music reviewer for the culture show Kulturnyheterna also at SVT. He has also produced the two music documentaries Kent and Så nära får ingen gå – ett år med Kent about the music group Kent. Between 2007 and 2014, he founded and ran the web and TV project PSL for SVT. PSL did start again 2018 and cover the music scene in Sweden and around the world.
