Tom Harris was a football manager who was Secretary/Manager of Notts County between 1893 and 1913. [1] He was the manager when Notts won the FA Cup in 1894 beating Bolton Wanderers 4-1 at Goodison Park.

Mick Walker is an English former football player and manager. As a player, he started his career as an apprentice with Nottingham Forest and played non-league football for several clubs including Kettering Town and Matlock Town. He later became manager of the reserve team at Ilkeston Town before being appointed first-team manager in 1971 following the departure of Dave Agnew. Six months later, Walker was hired as manager of the Singapore national football team. He joined Burton Albion as manager in 1976 and spent two years in charge of the club, later joining the coaching staff at Notts County.

After a successful season in League Two, the club gained promotion to League One following a win against Morecambe on 17 April 2010 and were crowned as League Two champions after a 5–0 win at already relegated Darlington ten days later. Manager Steve Cotterill left the club at the end of the season, and was replaced by Craig Short. Short was sacked on 26 October 2010, and replaced by Paul Ince. Ince left the club on April 2011, and was replaced by Martin Allen.
