Thomas Alvin Morga is an American stuntman, stunt coordinator, and actor best known for his various roles in Star Trek and for being the only actor to play Jason Voorhees, Leatherface and Michael Myers. [1]
Morga began stunt work in the mid-1970s. He later began working as a stunt double for Patrick Duffy in Man from Atlantis . Since then, Morga has doubled for several actors in feature films and television. His work also includes stunt and non-stunt acting roles in numerous Star Trek films and television episodes. However he only received credit for a very little number of his appearances.
In 1985, Morga portrayed Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning during Tommy's hallucinations except for the opening dream sequence where he was played by stuntman John Hock who was personally selected by him to fill-in during his absence. He also stunt-doubled for Dick Wieand, who played Jason's imposter Roy Burns during the film playing him in almost all masked scenes except for a few filmed with Hock. [2] He portrayed Leatherface in the bridge scene of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 . He also portrayed Michael Myers in the first half of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers , but was ultimately replaced by George P. Wilbur.[ citation needed ] In 2009, he appeared in a documentary His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th. [3]
Morga was co-winner of a 2007 Taurus World Stunt Award for "Best Fight" in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest . He was also part of the stunt team nominated for a 2007 Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for "Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture" in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End . He first appeared in Friday the 13th (1980) as the young son of camp-cook-turned-killer Mrs. Voorhees, in which he was portrayed by Ari Lehman. Created by Victor Miller, with contributions by Ron Kurz, Sean S. Cunningham and Tom Savini, Jason was not originally intended to carry the series as the main antagonist. Freddy vs. Jason is a 2003 American slasher film directed by Ronny Yu and written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. It is a crossover between the A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th franchises, being the eighth installment in the former and the eleventh in the latter. The film joins the two series in a shared universe and pits their respective antagonists, Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees, against each other. Freddy is weakened and forgotten because the citizens of his home town Springwood have defeated him by using medications that repress dreams. Freddy awakens Jason to stir up fear and grow his powers so that he may return and kill again. Jason turns out to not be as easily controlled as Freddy initially thought, and the two supernatural mass murderers come into conflict. The film is the last film in each franchise before their respective reboots: A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th.
Friday the 13th: A New Beginning is a 1985 American slasher film directed by Danny Steinmann and starring Melanie Kinnaman, John Shepherd, and Shavar Ross. The film also features a cameo appearance from Corey Feldman, who portrayed Tommy Jarvis in the previous film. It is a sequel to Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) and the fifth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise. Set years after the events of the previous film, the story follows a teenage Tommy Jarvis (Shepherd), who is institutionalized at a halfway house near Crystal Lake because of nightmares of mass murderer Jason Voorhees, whom he killed as a child. Tommy must face his fears when a new hockey mask-wearing murderer initiates another violent killing spree in the area.

Picking up immediately after the events of the previous film, the plot follows a presumed-dead Jason Voorhees who escapes from the morgue and returns to Crystal Lake to continue his killing spree. The film marks the debut of the character Tommy Jarvis (Feldman), who would make further appearances in two sequels and related media, establishing him as Jason's archenemy.
