Tom Parsons is a British stage actor and singer-songwriter. He did his acting training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. [1]
Parsons is most noted for performing the roles of Trekkie Monster, Nicky and one of the Bad Idea Bears in Avenue Q in London's West End, [2] from late 2009 until the show's closure in 2010. He performed in productions of Avenue Q at the Noël Coward Theatre, the Gielgud Theatre and the Wyndhams.
Previously he performed the role of Eddie and understudy of Sky in Mamma Mia! at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
In 2012, Parsons played Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar (Arena World Tour, including the UK and Australia) and was an original cast member in the 1st Arena Tour.
He played Mark in Monkee Business, directed by David Taylor at the Manchester Opera House.
For the Tony-award-winning musical Once , Parsons played the lead role of Guy at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne, and again in 2015 at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin. [3]

Five Guys Named Moe is a musical with a book by Clarke Peters and lyrics and music by Louis Jordan and others. Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds – The New Generation is a 2012 concept album by Jeff Wayne and is a re-working of his 1978 concept album, retelling the story of the 1898 novel The War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells. As previously, the music format is predominantly progressive rock and string orchestra, but with synthesizers playing a more prominent role. The music is intermixed with re-voiced narration and leitmotifs to carry the story forward via rhyming melodic lyrics that express the feelings of the various characters. Due to the consistent popularity of the original album, Wayne decided to return to his score and re-create it for a new generation of audiences, as well as re-launch a live tour throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
