Tom Vanstiphout (born 29 April 1975) is a Belgian musician who has made four solo albums and has toured with Clouseau, Jan Leyers and Milow.
Vanstiphout was born in Kapellen. He started his musical career at the age of 13 with M-pire, a band that performed only twice. His second band was Secret System. With this band he released one single 'This Time' and played many concerts in the area of Antwerp, o.a. a supporting act for De Kreuners, The Radios and Ashbury Faith. The other band members of Secret System were Filip Moens, Jan Van Sichem, Johan Swinnen, Filip Standaert and Peter Moens. After Secret System Tom played in Morbid Elly, a short-lived band with Leslie Van Windekens and again Filip Moens, which only produced one six song demo tape with cover art by Gert Bettens. He then became a professional musician as a live band member for a number of Belgian artists like Jan Leyers, Clouseau or Milow. He also regularly played with De Laatste Showband in a daily talkshow on Eén. [1]
In his solowork, he is mainly influenced by James Taylor. [1] He made his first album, Motion, in 2004, which landed him a number of concerts, a.o. on Folk Dranouter. In 2009, he released a second album, Working Man. In 2013, he released Little Beams of Light and in December 2015 he released Playing Guitar helps.
He is often considered one of Belgium's finest musicians, both as a studio musician [2] and as a live performer. [3] In 2009, he was one of the four nominees for Best Musician at the MIA's, the Belgian Music Industry Awards. [4]
Since 2019, he performs live and on some recordings with Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music, after Bryan Ferry heard him playing during the Night of the Proms. [5]

Clouseau is a Belgian pop group, having success in Belgium and the Netherlands since being established in the late 1980s. Apart from a brush with English material in the early 1990s they perform in Dutch. Their biggest hits are "Daar gaat ze" and "Passie".

Arthur Achiel Albert, Knight Blanckaert, known by his stage name Will Tura, is a Belgian artist considered as the most successful Flemish-speaking singer of the 20th century. Famous in Flanders and the Netherlands, Tura is a singer, musician, composer and songwriter. Nicknamed the Emperor of the Flemish Song, he released hundreds of singles and albums that cover a wide array of styles, and continued to tour into the 2010s.
Thor Salden, better known as Thor!, is a former child singer. Salden rose to fame in 2006, being the Belgian contestant at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with "Een tocht door het donker". The song topped the Flemish Ultratop charts for one week. Salden withdrew from the stage at the age of 11.
Night of the Proms is a series of concerts held annually in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg. Regularly there are also shows in France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, the United States and Sweden. The concerts consist of pop music and popular classical music and various well-known musicians and groups usually participate.

Jonathan Ivo Gilles Vandenbroeck, known professionally as Milow, is a Belgian singer-songwriter. Milow released his debut album, The Bigger Picture, in 2006 on his own label Homerun Records. The fourth single from that album, "You Don't Know," became one of the biggest hit singles of the year in Belgium in 2007, and The Bigger Picture stayed on the Belgian album chart for 110 weeks. However, it was not until his second self-released album Coming of Age in 2008, that Milow achieved major commercial success all over mainland Europe. The album peaked at number three on the German Album Top 50 chart, at number four in the Swiss Album Top 100, and peaked in the top twenty of many European charts. The album reached platinum in Germany and Switzerland, it reached gold in France, the Netherlands, and Belgium, and it sold over 500,000 copies in mainland Europe and Canada.
De Kreuners are a Flemish rock band established in 1978. They first received interest when they won the first Humo's Rock Rally in 1978, but didn't get a record contract. They self released their first three singles. They recorded their first single Nummer een in London. It became their first success. After these three singles, they signed with Warner Bros. and released in 1981 's Nachts kouder dan buiten. It sold 30,000 copies. By the time of their second album, 1982's Er sterft een beer in de taiga, they were one of Flanders' most successful bands, and the record became gold in two days time. In 1990 they switched to EMI and released their biggest success, the 1990 album Hier en nu, which sold 100,000 copies. The single Ik Wil Je has sold over 1 million copies. Their best of Het beste van de Kreuners is already certified platina before its release date.
