Kjell Tommy Westlund (born December 29, 1974) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey right winger who played four seasons in the National Hockey League from 1999 to 2003 for the Carolina Hurricanes.
Westlund began his career in Sweden's third tier league with Avesta BK. Impressive performances earned him a contract with Brynäs IF of the Elitserien. Westlund was drafted 93rd overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. After spending a season in the American Hockey League with the Beast of New Haven, he made his NHL debut in 1999. He played 203 career NHL games scoring 9 goals and 13 assists for 22 points. He missed the majority of the 2001-02 season after suffering a back injury during a game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on November 19, 2001. He made a recovery and would go on to play 19 games during the 2002 Stanley Cup Playoffs during Carolina's surprise run to the 2002 Stanley Cup Finals. He would be cross-checked in the mouth by Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jiri Fischer in Game 4 of the championship series, resulting in Fischer being suspended for the deciding Game 5 in Detroit.
Westlund would spend most of the 2002-03 season as a healthy scratch. He returned to Sweden in 2003 with Leksands IF before retiring from hockey. He is currently an Amateur Scout for the Pittsburgh Penguins. [1]

Craig D. Adams is a Bruneian-born Canadian former professional ice hockey player, who most recently played with the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League. Adams was born in Seria, Brunei, but was raised in Calgary, Alberta, residing and playing hockey in the community of Lake Bonavista. Adams won the Stanley Cup with both the Carolina Hurricanes and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Known in his playing years as "Little M", as his older brother Frank was the "Big M", Mahovlich played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with several clubs, including the Montreal Canadiens, where he played with his brother and was a member of four Stanley Cup championship teams.
Thomas Patrick Barrasso is an American professional ice hockey coach and former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 18 seasons. Barrasso began his time in the NHL with the Buffalo Sabres, who selected him fifth overall in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft out of high school. He was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1988, where he would best be remembered and spend the majority of his career. Barrasso spent parts of 12 seasons with the Penguins, and was a Stanley Cup champion in 1991 and 1992. After being traded to the Ottawa Senators in March 2000 and sitting out the 2000–01 season, his final two seasons were split playing for the Carolina Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs, and St. Louis Blues. Barrasso was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009 and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2023.

Dick Tärnström is a Swedish former professional ice hockey defenceman. During the majority of his 21-year-long playing career, Tärnström played for AIK of the Swedish top-tier league Elitserien (SEL). He was the captain for AIK during the five last seasons of his career. He also spent five years in the National Hockey League (NHL), playing for the New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, and Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Sutter family, originally from Viking, Alberta, Canada, are one of the most famous families in the National Hockey League (NHL). Six brothers: Brent, Brian, Darryl, Duane, Rich and Ron, reached the NHL in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Four brothers, Brian, Duane, Darryl and Brent, have gone on to become coaches and general managers as well, with Brian, Darryl, and Brent each having a stint as head coach of the Calgary Flames. Kevin Stevens is an American former ice hockey player and current scout in the National Hockey League (NHL). He played left wing on a line with Mario Lemieux during the Pittsburgh Penguins' Stanley Cup championships in 1991 and 1992. During his career, he also played with the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, and Philadelphia Flyers. In 2017, Stevens was named Special Assignment Scout with the Penguins hockey organization.
