Tony Miles (born May 16, 1978) is a former Canadian Football League (CFL) wide receiver/punt returner.
Miles attended Northwest Missouri State University. As a freshman, he was an All-MIAA first team selection at wide receiver, and a second team All-MIAA selection at running back. As a senior, he was a first team All-MIAA selection at both, wide receiver and kick returner. As a senior, he was an NCAA Division II All-American, a first team All-MIAA selection at both, wide receiver and kick returner, the MIAA offensive MVP, and one of five players from the NCAA Division II level selected to play in the Hula Bowl. He left school as the all-time career leader in receiving yards (3,079 yards), receiving touchdowns (30 TDs), punt return yardage (1,302 yards), and punts returned for touchdowns (three touchdowns).
Miles began his CFL career with the Tiger-Cats in 2002, but was traded to the Toronto Argonauts in 2003 along with fullback Randy Bowles for defensive end Joe Montford. It was with the Argonauts that Miles won a Grey Cup championship in 2004. On February 16, 2008, Miles re-signed with the Tiger-Cats as a free agent.

Chad Owens Sr. is an American former professional football wide receiver and kick returner who played for three years in the National Football League (NFL) and nine years in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL draft. Owens played college football at Hawaii. He spent six seasons playing for the Toronto Argonauts, and has also been a member of the Montreal Alouettes, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Owen's is also a professional bodybuilder who competes in the IFBB Men's Physique Division.
Taylor Evans Stubblefield is an American football coach and former player who is the wide receivers coach for the Air Force Falcons. He played professionally as a wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers and St. Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He left Purdue University owning the most receptions in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) history. Stubblefield was most recently the wide receivers coach with the Toronto Argonauts. A three-sport athlete at A.C. Davis High School, Stubblefield committed to the Purdue University to play football for the Boilermakers. In his collegiate debut in 2001, he had five receptions for 65 yards. He led the team in receptions and was named to the All-Freshman Big Ten team by Sporting News. During his sophomore season, he finished with 77 receptions for 789 yards, but didn't record a touchdown catch. As a junior in 2003, Stubblefield earned second-team All-Big Ten honors at the conclusion of the season. In the 2001 Sun Bowl, he had nine catches for a Sun Bowl-record 196 yards. During the 2004 season, Stubblefield was a Biletnikoff Award finalist, earned first-team All-Big Ten honors and was named a consensus All-American.He concluded his college career with an NCAA record of 325 receptions, which he held for seven years, 3,629 yards, and 27 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Purdue Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015 and was also named to the 75th Anniversary Sun Bowl Team.
Rashaun Dorrell Woods is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). Woods played college football for Oklahoma State Cowboys, receiving All-American honors twice, including a consensus selection in 2002. He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2004 NFL draft, and played professionally for the NFL's 49ers, the CFL's Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europa. Woods currently coaches at Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas (2023–present).
Arland Richard Bruce III is a former Canadian football wide receiver. He is a two-time Grey Cup champion, having won in 2004 with the Toronto Argonauts and in 2011 with the Lions. He has played 10 seasons in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and BC Lions. During the 2011 season, he became the 14th CFL receiver to record over 10,000 yards receiving in a career.

Archie J. Amerson is an American former professional Canadian football running back and slotback who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) from 1997 to 2004, appearing in 122 regular season games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and one regular season game for the Toronto Argonauts. In 1999, he was part of the Tiger-Cats team that won the 87th Grey Cup. He missed the entire 2005 season due to injury and was released by the Tiger-Cats afterwards. At the time of his release, Amerson was one of the most prolific receivers in Tiger-Cats history, ranking third in receptions, fourth in receiving yards, fifth in kickoff return yards, and sixth in touchdowns.

Marcus Arnette Thigpen is an American former professional gridiron football player who was a running back and kick returner in the National Football League and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Indiana Hoosiers, earning first-team All-American honors in 2006. He signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2009. Thigpen was also a member of the Denver Broncos, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders, and Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The season was among the most notable in the modern era for the competitiveness of the teams; going into the final week, five teams were tied for first place in the league, a first in modern CFL history. It was also the first time since 1982 that all teams finished with fewer than 12 wins in the regular season. As well, for the first time since 1950, the start of the modern era, all four teams competing in the division finals were different from the four teams that had competed in the division finals the previous year. Newly renovated BC Place Stadium in Vancouver hosted the 99th Grey Cup on November 27, with the hometown Lions defeating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 34–23 in front of a sold-out crowd.
