The Toronto Argonauts are a professional Canadian football team based in Toronto, Ontario. The Argonauts compete in the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Founded in 1873, the team is the oldest existing professional sports team in North America still using its original name, as well as the oldest-surviving team in both the modern-day CFL and East Division. The team's origins date back to a modified version of rugby football that emerged in North America in the latter half of the 19th century. The Argonauts played their home games at Rogers Centre from 1989 until 2016, when the team moved to BMO Field, the fifth stadium site to host the team.

Michael Edward Fletcher is the linebackers coach for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a former professional football linebacker who played for nine seasons with the BC Lions and Toronto Argonauts. He is a CFL All-Star and a two-time Grey Cup champion, having won with the Lions in 2000 and with the Argonauts in 2004.
Lewis Edward Hayman was an American sports figure. He was one of the driving forces behind the Canadian Football League as coach, general manager, team president, and league president. As head coach, he was a five-time Grey Cup winner with three different teams. Hayman was a pioneer in bringing African Americans into the CFL, hiring one of professional football's first Black players, Herb Trawick, and coach Willie Wood. He was inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.
William B. Frank, Jr. was a Canadian football offensive tackle in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the BC Lions, Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He also was a member of the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Colorado. He is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
Kevin Eiben is a Canadian former professional football linebacker who is currently the defensive co-coordinator and linebackers coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted 26th overall by the Argonauts in the 2001 CFL Draft and spent the first 11 years of his playing career with the team, followed by one season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He is a four-time Grey Cup champion after winning with the Argonauts as a player in 2004 and as an assistant coach in 2017, 2022, and 2024. He played college football for the Bucknell Bison.
Terry Greer is a former professional American and Canadian football player who played wide receiver with the Canadian Football League (CFL)'s Toronto Argonauts and the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL). He held the CFL record for most catches in a season; he is a member of the Argonauts all-time team and his #10 has been honored by the team. Greer was the first to gain 2,000 yards receiving in a professional football season.

Ulysses "Crazy Legs" Curtis was an American professional football player who was a running back in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Toronto Argonauts from 1950 to 1954. He won two Grey Cups with Toronto in 1950 and 1952.
Chris Van Zeyl is a Canadian former professional gridiron football offensive tackle who played for 15 years in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Montreal Alouettes, Toronto Argonauts, and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He is a two-time Grey Cup champion with the Argonauts and was named a CFL All-Star three times and CFL East Division All-Star seven times. He was also named the CFL's Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman in 2019. He played CIS Football for the McMaster Marauders as a defensive lineman.
Gregory M. Jones II is an American former professional football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Michigan State Spartans, and was a two-time All-American selection. He was selected by the New York Giants in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL draft, and won the Super Bowl XLVI with them. He was also a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans of the NFL, the Toronto Argonauts and Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL, and the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League (UFL).
Cory Stone is an American gridiron football coach and former player. He is the defensive coordinator and defensive line coach for Central State University, positions he has held since 2022. He has worked as an assistant coach with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Stone coached the Argonauts to a victory in the 100th Grey Cup in 2012. He played college football at the University of Tennessee from 1992 to 1994 and professionally in the Arena Football League from 1996 to 2005. Stone has coached in the Arena Football League for the Bakersfield Blitz, Rio Grande Valley Dorados, and Milwaukee Iron. He has coached college football at Clark Atlanta University.
