As a player, he is the Wesleyan University Cardinals all-time leading scorer, won a bronze medal with Team USA at the 1993 Maccabiah Games in Israel, is the Minnesota Thunder all-time leading scorer, and played for the Tampa Bay Mutiny and the Chicago Fire. As a coach, he was Head Coach of the Minnesota Thunder and assistant coach for D.C. United. In the front office, formerly he was Director of Soccer Development for the Portland Timbers. He has been inducted into the Wesleyan University Hall of Fame, the Minnesota Thunder Hall of Fame, and the United Soccer League Hall of Fame.

He gained his greatest fame as a coach, taking his teams to five league, three league cup titles and two McGuire Cup titles In 1956, he coached the US Olympic soccer team at the 1956 Summer Olympics. He is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
John Swallen is a retired American soccer player who played professionally with the Minnesota Thunder for twelve seasons. Swallen, a goalkeeper, was named to the Thunder Hall of Fame in 2002, following the conclusion of his Thunder career. Swallen was named the USL First Division MVP and goalkeeper of the year for the 1999 season.

David Masur is a retired American soccer midfielder who played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League and USISL. He is the head coach of the St. John's University men's soccer team. He was the 1996 NCAA Division I Coach of the Year and led the Red Storm to the 1996 NCAA national championship.
Michael Noonan is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in the American Indoor Soccer Association and is currently the head coach of the Clemson University men's soccer team.
Leon "Bud" Lewis is an American former professional soccer player and coach. Known for his versatility on the field as a midfielder and forward, Lewis represented the Cincinnati Comets in the American Soccer League and the Buffalo Blazers in the Canadian National Soccer League in the mid-1970s. After retiring as a player, he served as the head coach for the men's soccer team at Wilmington College between 1975 and 2017.
