Toolamba is a closed railway station on the Goulburn Valley railway in the town of Toolamba, Victoria, Australia. The station opened as a junction at the same time as the railway from Mangalore to Shepparton on 13 January 1880, [1] with the line to Tatura opening on the same day. [2] The last passenger service to the station from Echuca ran on 2 March 1981 with Y class diesel locomotive Y161 an ABE carriage and a C van. This consist had only been introduced a few months prior, with a DERM usually being rostered. [3] Toolamba finally closed as a station on 20 December 1987. [1]
The platform was on the west side of the line, with a dirt mound and the foundations of the signal box remaining today. A water tower is located at the Seymour end of the station, and a 725 metre long loop siding is located across from the former platform, which is usable as a crossing loop. [4] The junction for the line to Echuca faces Seymour, and is located on the Shepparton end of the level crossing.

Strathmerton is a closed railway station on the Goulburn Valley railway in the town of Strathmerton, Victoria, Australia. The station opened at the same time as the railway from Shepparton to Cobram on 1 October 1888, with the line to Tocumwal not opening until 28 February 1905, ending at a temporary terminus on the south side of the Murray River, the line not completed into Tocumwal until July 1908. The junction between the lines was to the north of the station, facing down trains.

Tongala is a closed railway station on the Toolamba–Echuca railway line, in Victoria, Australia, formerly serving the town of Tongala. Although the former passenger platform remains only as a mound, the former goods platform still exists in relatively good condition, with a crane still provided on the platform. A transport mural is located near the station site. A number of tracks and sidings were removed at the station in 1991. A freight service that served the nearby Nestlé factory with briquettes also ceased in July 1991.
The Toolamba–Echuca railway is a broad-gauge cross-country rail link between the towns of Toolamba and Echuca in Victoria, Australia. As a railway route to and from Echuca, it provides an alternative to the usual route via Bendigo. The line has not been used for passenger services since 1981, and goods movements on the line are intermittent, with it being booked out of service at times. The line was re-opened for goods traffic while there was track work on the Shepparton line between Seymour and Shepparton. On 3 October 2013 the line was re-opened after an upgrade.
