Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, also known by its previous name Brnik Airport, is the international airport of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. The airport is located near the village of Brnik, 24 km (15 mi) northwest of Ljubljana and 9.5 km (5.9 mi) east of Kranj on the road between Kranj and Mengeš. It serves as the homebase for Adria Airways, the largest airline in Slovenia.

The largest settlement on the river is Mirna. The river is traversed by the Sevnica–Trebnje Railway. The river was mentioned for the first time in 1028 in relation to a 1016 document by Henry II, Holy Roman Emperor.
The Pšata is a river of Slovenia. The river is 28 km (17 mi) long. It is a right tributary of the Kamnik Bistrica, which merges with the Sava east of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.

It is situated at the crossing of regional roads and a confluence of several creeks with the Mirna River, along the railway line linking Sevnica and Trebnje.

Tihaboj is a nucleated settlement in the local community of Gabrovka, Municipality of Litija, central Slovenia. It lies on a terrace in the Gabrovka Hills, a part of the Mirna Valley, along the road connecting Litija and Mirna. The landscape has a fluviokarst character. The settlement comprises the hamlets of Mlake, Orešje, and Psina. The residents mainly live from farming and service activities; many of them drive to work to nearby places.
Nogometni klub Mengeš, commonly referred to as NK Mengeš or simply Mengeš, was a Slovenian football club, which played in the town of Mengeš. The club was dissolved after the 1996–97 Slovenian Third League season. The club was founded in 1928, and was dissolved in 1997.
