The Tour de Maurice is a multi-day road cycling race annually held in Mauritius. Since 2023 it has been held as a 2.2 category event on the UCI Africa Tour. [1]

Chris Froome notably won the 2006 edition of the race, while still riding under Kenyan nationality. [2]

The general classification of the Tour de France is the most important classification of the race and determines the winner of the race. Since 1919, the leader of the general classification has worn the yellow jersey.

The 2006 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré was the 58th edition of the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré cycle race and was held from 4 June to 11 June 2006. The race consisted of a Prologue and seven stages covering a total of 1,098 km (682 mi), starting in Annecy and finishing in Grenoble.

The lanterne rouge is the competitor in last place in the Tour de France. The 2006 Thomas & Uber Cups Preliminaries for Africa were held in Rose Hill, Mauritius, between 19 and 23 February 2006, and organised by Mauritius Badminton Association. South Africa was the defending champion in men's and women's team events. This tournament serves as qualification stage for African countries for the 2006 Thomas & Uber Cup. South Africa men's and women's team qualified to compete at the 2006 Thomas & Uber Cup held in Japan.

The 2001 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré was the 53rd edition of the cycle race and was held from 10 June to 17 June 2001. The race started in Morzine and finished in Chambéry. The race was won by Christophe Moreau of the Festina team.

He played for San Diego Loyal SC, an American professional soccer team based in San Diego, California, during the 2020 USL Championship season. Since 2021, he now plays for Saint-Pauloise FC, a football club based in Saint-Paul, Réunion, France.
