The Tour de Snowy was an international women's road cycling stage race held annually in the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales, Australia, from **1998 to 2002**. [1]

The event was originally organised by the **Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Authority** and the **New South Wales Department of Sport & Recreation**. It was considered one of the premier women’s cycling races in Australia, attracting top professional riders from around the world and typically featuring between five and nine stages in each edition. [2]

The Tour was discontinued after the 2002 edition due to the loss of sponsorship support. [3]
