Tower Lakes can be considered either one or two lakes, since they consist of a north and a south lake joined by a narrow water passage. Tower Lakes is a landscaping feature of the Tower Lakes Adult Mobile Home Community, just north of Lake Wales, Florida. The mobile home park is just east of US Highway 27; the only park entrance can only be accessed from the highway. This mobile home park, for residents fifty-five years and older, contains approximately 500 mobile homes and about 1000 residents during the peak season for winter visitors (December through March). The community has a large clubhouse on the east side of Tower Lakes just south of where the two parts are joined. The water has a 4.1-acre (17,000 m2) surface area. The north lake has almost twice the surface area of the south lake. The north lake is shaped like a backwards small "y" and the south lake is shaped like a capital "R." The two lakes are joined at the center of the bottom of the "y" and the top of the "R." [3]
No boating, fishing or swimming are allowed at Tower Lakes, but during daytime hours the public may enter the mobile home park to see Tower Lakes. The lake area has a wooden footbridge going over the channel that connects the two parts. Just to the north of the bridge a fountain is just inside the lake. Park benches are placed at various locations on the lake shore. [4]
A hairpin turn, named for its resemblance to a hairpin/bobby pin, is a bend in a road with a very acute inner angle, making it necessary for an oncoming vehicle to turn about 180° to continue on the road. Such turns in ramps and trails may be called switchbacks in American English, by analogy with switchback railways. In British English "switchback" is more likely to refer to a heavily undulating road—a use extended from the rollercoaster and the other type of switchback railway.
Vermont South is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 20 km east of Melbourne's Central Business District. Its local government area is the City of Whitehorse. At the 2016 census, Vermont South had a population of 11,678.

Stirling is a village in the County of Warner No. 5, Alberta, Canada. The village is located on Highway 4, approximately 31 km (19 mi) southeast of Lethbridge and 72 km (45 mi) northwest of the Canada–US border.
Yosemite West is an unincorporated community of resort homes located just outside the southern area of Yosemite National Park, just off Wawona Road, a continuation of State Route 41 from Fresno. It is situated one mile (1.6 km) south of the Chinquapin intersection of Wawona Road with Glacier Point Road at an altitude of 5,100–6,300 ft (1,600–1,900 m). The elevation reported by the USGS is 5,866 feet (1,788 m). The community is part of Henness Ridge, nearly 3,000 feet (910 m) above the southern banks of the Merced River and State Route 140 from Mariposa. Addresses in this area are shown as "Yosemite National Park, CA 95389"
Osage State Fishing Lake is located in northern Osage County, Kansas. It is a mile east of US 75. Scranton, Kansas, is to the lake's northwest and Overbrook, Kansas, is to the northeast. Osage Lake is a freshwater man-made lake, constructed in 1955. It has a surface area of 140 ares (150,000 sq ft), The parkland in which the lake is contained has 366 ares (394,000 sq ft) of land, mostly tall grass prairie with numerous wooded areas. The lake is owned by the State of Kansas.
Bonnet Lake or Lake Bonnet is a 268-acre (1,080,000 m2) natural freshwater lake in Highlands County, Florida. It is bounded on the north by Lake Bonnet Village, on its west by Bonnet Lake Campgrounds, on its southwest by a railroad line and on its south and southeast by Highlands Ridge. On part of its north shore is a citrus grove. To the lake's northeast is a large wooded area. Lake Bonnet Village and Bonnet Lake Campgrounds are mobile home and recreational vehicle parks for residents aged 55 and greater. Highlands Village is a retirement housing development.
Lake Streety is a natural freshwater lake in south Polk County, Florida. It is 0.4 mi (1 km) southwest of Little Sun Ray and 1.4 mi (2.3 km) southwest of Sun Ray. Both of these are small unincorporated communities. Lake Streety is just north of the Avon Park Cut Off Road and is bordered on the northeast by Lake Streety Road, which is a sand road. The lake has a 324-acre (1,310,000 m2) surface area.
Lake Weaver is a natural freshwater lake located in Lake Wales, Florida. The lake is also much of the time called Lake Weader. By looking at maps and websites, it appears both names are used as often as the other. The lake is on the north side of Central Avenue and just east of US Highway 27. Across the street on Central are businesses and to the lake's southeast are businesses. On the northeast shore is a residential area. To the north is a wooded area.
Mountain Lodge Lake is not labelled on most maps, even though it is larger than some neighboring lakes. It has a 39.22-acre (158,700 m2) surface area and is roughly in the shape of an hourglass. The eastern part of the hourglass is oval-shaped. The western part is round, but considerably smaller than the eastern part. The middle of the hourglass is about a one-third as wide as the width of the other two wide parts of the lake. Mountain Lodge Lake is just north of Lake Wales, Florida. It is bounded on the east by US Highway 27, on the southeast by a vehicle dealership, on the west and southwest by a citrus orchard, on the northwest by woods and on the north by Vanguard School.
The Village of Charlie Creek is an unincorporated community in eastern Hardee County, Florida. In at least three websites the community is called Charlie Creek Mobile Home Estates and in one it is called Charlie Creek Mobile Estates. The Village of Charlie Creek is 0.5 miles (0.80 km) west of Charlie Creek. It is 0.25 miles (0.40 km) wide, and depending on what area is included, either 0.50 miles (0.80 km) or 0.76 miles (1.22 km) long. It has eight platted street blocks and a large area to the north that is unplatted. This north area accounts for the longer length that could be considered part of the settlement. The village is bounded on the south by Highway 64, on the east by Morgan Grice Road and citrus trees and grazing land, on the north by grazing land, and on the west by citrus orchards and grazing land.
Tower Lake is a natural freshwater lake located on the north edge of Haines City, Florida. All references to it but one have it named as Tower Lake. In the Wikimapia website, it is called Lake Tower. This lake has a 66.41-acre (268,800 m2) surface area. On the west it is bordered by Highway US 27, on the southwest by vacant land, on the southeast by Osprey Drive, on the northeast by the Calabay Park gated community and on the north by Bates Road. The southeast section of Tower Lake is inside the city limits of Haines City.
International Market World is a very large flea market just west of Auburndale, Florida, United States. The flea market is on the north side of U.S. Highway 92. Just to its southwest is the intersection of US 92 and Polk Parkway. International Market World is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the year and is the largest one in Polk County, Florida, and it is also one of the largest in central Florida.
Sun Ray, Florida, is an unincorporated community in south Polk County, Florida. Its area is almost entirely land; the total water area is less than 0.01 square miles (0.026 km2) and most of that area is septic ponds on the south edge of Sun Ray. Approximately 90% of the community is on the east side of U.S. Highway 27. A railroad line runs diagonally south to north along the southwest boundary of Sun Ray. Sun Ray measures 0.77 miles (1.24 km) at its longest point and 0.22 miles (0.35 km) at its widest point.
Lake Bess is a natural freshwater lake southeast of Winter Haven, Florida. It is pear shaped and has a 147-acre (590,000 m2) surface area. Two blocks from its northeast shore is a WalMart supercenter and just north of that is Cypress Gardens Boulevard. On its north-northwest side is a gated residential community. To its west is Lake Ruby. The two lakes are separated by a 40 feet (12 m) strip of land. On its south-southwest shore are residential developments. On its southeast is pastureland. On its east-northeast shore are two country clubs and mobile homes.
Lake Silver is a natural freshwater lake located in central Winter Haven, Florida. This lake has a 51.73-acre (209,300 m2) surface area and is completely surrounded by offices, clinics and residential areas. The lake, almost circular in shape, is surrounded on three sides by North and South Lake Silver Drive. Lake Silver Drive on the east side is also part of 1st Street North. Lake Silver is surrounded by public land on all but its south and northwest shores. On the east side, 1st Street is only about 10 feet (3.0 m) away. On the north, North Lake Silver Drive is about 20 feet (6.1 m) away. On the entire west and southwest sides is parkland. Directly across 1st Street, to the southeast, is the Winter Haven Hospital campus. Beyond the housing to the south and across South Lake Silver Drive is the main campus of Gessler Clinic.
Lake Moody is a natural freshwater lake with a 409-acre (1,660,000 m2) surface area. Shaped somewhat like a flint arrowhead, Lake Moody is in an area of sparse residential development. A scattering of residences, as well as citrus groves, are on the south side of the lake along South Lake Moody Road. On the west side the lake is bordered by the Scenic Route of Highway 17. A few residences line the west side of the highway and the shore on west side is all private property. Most of the area along the highway is bordered by citrus groves. North Lake Moody Road borders the northwest part of the lake. The shore borders much of the road right-of-way on this road. Lake Moody is bordered on the northeast by citrus groves and some swampy areas of ground. A railroad line, more swamp and citrus groves line the east shore.
Kelly Lake is rectangular in shape, but is about six times as long as it is wide. This lake is a manmade freshwater lake in south Lakeland, Florida. It appears to have been a mine excavation that was landscaped to become a lake. This lake has a 6.77-acre (27,400 m2) surface area. It is bounded on the east by a large strip mall and on the south by North Parkway Frontage Road, which is on the north side of Polk Parkway. On the west and north Kelly Lake is bordered by villas, which are listed as managed by Villas Associates Owners. Village Associates Owners maintains a tennis court on northeast edge of the lake and on the north side, at 570 Caribbean Drive, maintains a clubhouse and a swimming pool. The clubhouse is actually an island just off the north shore and a boardwalk connects it to shore. This island clubhouse is 65 feet (20 m) long and 55 feet (17 m) wide.
Lake Rochelle, of which the main body is oval-shaped, has a smaller oval-shaped cove on its east end. This lake has a surface area of 580-acre (2,300,000 m2). The lake is located just north of Winter Haven, Florida, but is located entirely within the city limits of Lake Alfred, Florida, the main part of which is on the lake's northwest side. On that side US Highway 92 is just beyond the lake's shore. Most of the north and west sides of Lake Rochelle are bordered by woods. The east and south sides are bordered by residences and grassland.
