Toydrum are an English musical duo formed in 2011 by former Unkle band members and record producers Pablo Clements and James Griffith. The pair work out of their Brighton studio, The Toyrooms, [1] where they wrote and recorded their debut EP, Distant Focus Vol 1 (2014), [2] [3] [4] and the subsequent Evangelist (2015), with Gavin Clark. [5]

In 2015, the duo composed and produced the score to the film London Fields , [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] directed by Mathew Cullen.

Clements and Griffith wrote and produced music for Shane Meadows' series This Is England '90 , [11] [12] [13] [14] under the name Evangelist, a project they started with Gavin Clark and Clayhill.

At the end of 2015, Toydrum finished the score to Christopher Smith's Detour . [15] The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on 16 April 2016. [16] The score was shortlisted for a BIFA Award. [17]

In 2016, they also worked with Alice Lowe on the score to her first feature film, Prevenge , which premiered at the Venice and Toronto film festivals. [18] [19] [20]

End Titles... Stories for Film is a compilation album by British electronic music act Unkle, inspired by feature films created since Unkle's previous 2007 album War Stories, released on 7 July 2008. Unlike their previous album, the 2005 mix Edit Music for a Film: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Reconstruction, "End Titles..." is composed of original material. It features collaborators: Josh Homme, Black Mountain, Gavin Clark, Joel Cadbury, James Petralli, War Stories producer Chris Goss, Dave Bateman, and James Griffith of Lake Trout/Unkle's touring band.

Clayhill was a British three-piece folk band comprising Ali Friend, Ted Barnes and vocalist Gavin Clark. They released their debut album Small Circle in 2004, and released two EPs and another LP, Mine at Last (2006). Throughout the summer of 2006 they toured with Mercury Music Prize winners Gomez and Beth Orton, as the support act on both her UK and US tours to promote Comfort of Strangers.
