Tracktor Bowling is a Russian nu metal band, formed in Moscow in 1996. [5]
The group formed in 1996. In 2000, their demo-track record "Mutatsiya" ("Mutation") gained early success and netted them a budding reputation as leaders of the Moscow alternative rock scene. [6]
Their debut album was released in 2002. The group has released five albums, one Live-album, one DVD and some singles. It is a popular modern Russian alternative metal band, alongside ones such as Amatory, Slot, Stigmata and others.

Rock music became known in the Soviet Union in the 1960s and quickly broke free from its Western roots. According to many music critics, its "golden age" years were the 1980s, when the Soviet underground rock bands became able to release their records officially. Since then, Russia and Russophone artists in various other countries have developed a varied rock scene that covers virtually all rock genres, from classic and alternative rock to punk and heavy metal. The majority of the Russian bands perform in the Russian language.

Lyube's music is a mixture of several genres, with influences from both Russian folk music, rock, Russian chanson, and Soviet military songs. The band was founded in 1989, and since then have released sixteen albums. Lyube's producer and main songwriter is Igor Matviyenko.
