Tralee Golf Club is an 18-hole links golf course, at Barrow, near Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland.
The records show that golf has been played in Tralee since 1896 in various locations such as Oakpark, Fenit, the site of the present day Austin Stack Park and most recently at a 9-hole parklands course at Mounthawk in Cahersalee all in the town of Tralee.[ citation needed ]
In October 2009, Tralee Golf Club celebrated its 25th anniversary since its move from the town of Tralee to its present location on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean at West Barrow, Ardfert, Co. Kerry. The course was designed by Arnold Palmer. [1] [2]
The course is a par 72 and measures almost 7,000 yards from the championship tees.[ citation needed ]
The Academy Award winning film Ryan's Daughter starring Robert Mitchum and Sarah Miles had its beach scenes filmed beside the first few holes. [3] [4] A tower stands behind the third green overlooking the harbour and this dates back to the 1190s. [3] A Spanish Armada ship is reputed to have run aground west of the 17th. [3] The beach behind the 16th green and off the right of the 17th hole was where many ships ran aground, including one vessel from the Spanish Armada in 1588. [3] The nearby Banna Strand is celebrated in song as the landing point of Sir Roger Casement in 1916. [3]

Spanish Point is a village in the parish of Milltown Malbay in County Clare on the west coast of Ireland. It has many holiday homes, and in winter a significantly smaller population. The Beach, over a kilometre long, has Blue Flag Status and is suitable for swimming and surfing. It is also one of the better known surf breaks in County Clare. The name refers to the wrecking of some ships of the Spanish Armada off the coast.
Fenit is a small village in County Kerry, Ireland, located on north side of Tralee Bay about 10 km (6 mi) west of Tralee town, just south of the Shannon Estuary. The bay is enclosed from the Atlantic by the Maharee spit which extends northwards from the Dingle peninsula. Fenit harbour is a mixed function sea port, where fishing, freight import and export, and a 136 berth marina are the main forms of business. As of the 2016 CSO census of Ireland, Fenit had a population of 538 people.
Banna Strand, also known as Banna Beach, is a beach in North Kerry, Ireland. It is an Atlantic Ocean beach extending from the Smallrock and Blackrock in the North to Carrahane at its southern edge. It is around 12 kilometres (7 mi) north west of Tralee. It features shifting sand dunes along its entire length which rise up to 12 metres (40 ft). Carrahane lagoon on the south end,famous for migrating birds and the Roger Casement landing. The mountains of the Dingle Peninsula can be seen on the south west horizon. Many residents from Tralee make a trip to Banna Strand on the warmest summer days.
Castlegregory is a village in County Kerry, Ireland. It is situated on the north side of the Dingle Peninsula, halfway between Tralee and Dingle. As of the 2016 Census, Castlegregory had a population of 250.
The Canadian Open is a professional golf tournament in Canada. It is co-organized by Golf Canada and the PGA Tour. It was first played 119 years ago in 1904, and has been held annually since then, except for during World War I, World War II and the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the third oldest continuously running tournament on the tour, after The Open Championship and the U.S. Open.

Tralee Bay is located in on the west coast of County Kerry, Ireland. It is situated between Kerry Head on the north side and the Maharees on the west and extends eastwards as far as the bridge at Blennerville. Several small rivers feed into the bay through the town of Tralee. Villages around the bay include; Ballyheigue, Fenit, Kilfinora, Spa, Blennerville, Camp and Castlegregory.
Blennerville is a small village and now a suburb of Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. It is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) west of the town centre on the N86 road to Dingle, where the River Lee enters Tralee Bay. The village was formerly Tralee's port, and is connected to the town centre by the Tralee Ship Canal. Part of Blennerville electoral division falls within the area of Tralee Town Council, and at the 2011 census had a population of 141. The remaining portion, outside the urban boundaries, had a 2011 population of 556.

It is a 162-kilometre (101-mile) long circular route that begins and ends in Tralee and is typically completed in eight days. It is designated as a National Waymarked Trail by the National Trails Office of the Irish Sports Council and is managed by the Dingle Way Committee and Kerry County Council.
Atton Lake is a spring fed, closed basin lake on the western side of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The lake is north-east of the town of Cut Knife, south-east of Paynton, and directly east of Poundmaker Indian Reserve in the RM of Cut Knife No. 439. The confluence of Cut Knife Creek and Battle River is to the north-west. Access to the lake and associated park is from Highway 40, east of Cut Knife.
