Tramaine Thompson (born April 10, 1990) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist. He played college football for the Kansas State Wildcats football team from 2010 to 2013. [1] [2] As a junior in 2012, he returned 16 punts for 316 yards. [1] He led all NCAA major college players that year with an average of 19.8 yards per punt return. [3] [4] During his four years at Kansas State, Thompson appeared in 43 games, totaling 109 receptions for 1,673 yards and 10 touchdowns. [1]

Mark Mangino American football coach

Mark Thomas Mangino is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Kansas from 2002 to 2009. In 2007, Mangino received several national coach of the year honors after leading the Jayhawks to their only 12-win season in school history and an Orange Bowl victory. However, he resigned as coach at Kansas two seasons later following allegations of mistreatment of players. While at Kansas, Mangino coached in four bowl games with a 3–1 record, the lone loss coming in the 2003 Tangerine Bowl. Additionally, in five of his eight seasons at Kansas, the Jayhawks were Bowl eligible, they were only bowl eligible five times in the previous thirty seasons. He held multiple assistant coaching jobs before becoming the head coach at Kansas, the longest being an eight season stint at Kansas State as their running game coordinator.

Josh Cribbs American football return specialist and wide receiver

Joshua Cribbs is a former American football return specialist and wide receiver. He played college football for Kent State University, and was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He has tied the NFL career record with eight kickoff returns for touchdowns, and also the NFL record with two kickoffs of 100 yards or more returned for touchdowns in a single game. He has also played for the New York Jets, Oakland Raiders and Indianapolis Colts. He was most recently a special teams coaching intern for the Cleveland Browns.

Patrick De'mon Peterson Jr. is an American football cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in the country, the Jim Thorpe Award as the best defensive back, and was unanimously recognized as an All-American. He was selected fifth overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Peterson was named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight seasons in the NFL. In 2021, he signed with the Vikings as a free agent after 10 seasons with Arizona.

He was also an accomplished track and field athlete. He played college football as a wide receiver and return specialist for the Clemson Tigers at Clemson University, where he competed in sprinting events. During his stint in the NFL, Ford was widely regarded as one of the fastest players in the league. He has one of the top 100 meter times by NFL players.

Tyler Lockett American football player (born 1992)

Tyler Deron Lockett is an American football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Seahawks in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at Kansas State. In college, he set numerous Kansas State football records and was both a 2011 All-American and 2014 College Football All-America Team consensus All-American selection. In college, he totaled 6,586 career all-purpose yards and 35 touchdowns, including 3,710 yards and 29 touchdowns as a receiver.

The 2013 Kansas State Wildcats football team represented Kansas State University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Wildcats play their home games at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium, in Manhattan, Kansas as they have since 1968. 2013 is the 118th season in school history. The Wildcats are led by head coach Bill Snyder in his 22nd overall and fifth straight season since taking over in his second tenure in 2009. K-State is a member of the Big 12 Conference. Conference play began with a loss to the Texas Longhorns, which ended the Wildcats 5-game winning streak against the Longhorns. Their last lost against Texas was in 2003. The regular season ended with a win over in-state rival Kansas in the Sunflower Showdown. After completing the regular season with a 7–5 record, the Kansas State Wildcats returned for a bowl game for the fourth straight year, were selected to play in the 2013 Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and played the Michigan Wolverines. The season ended with the Wildcats defeating the Wolverines, 31–14, to break a five-game bowl losing streak winning their first bowl game since the 2002 Holiday Bowl and finishing the season 8–5.

The 1988 Liberty Bowl, a college football postseason bowl game, took place on December 28, 1988, at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee. The competing teams in the 30th Liberty Bowl were the Indiana Hoosiers of the Big Ten Conference, and the South Carolina Gamecocks, who competed as a I-A independent. In what was the first ever meeting between the schools, Indiana was victorious in by a final score of 34–10.

2019 Kansas State Wildcats football team American college football season

The 2019 Kansas State Wildcats football team represented Kansas State University in the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Wildcats played their home games at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas, and competed in the Big 12 Conference. They were led by first-year head coach Chris Klieman, who accepted the role after the retirement of long-time head coach Bill Snyder.

Darwin Thompson is an American football running back who is a free agent. He played college football at Utah State and was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Thompson won a Super Bowl title as part of the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV.
