Travels in Constants

Travels in Constants is a limited edition collection of 25 EPs issued by American record label Temporary Residence Limited. The label issued one CD from each artist involved in the project, which ran from 1999 until 2015. A large number of the artists involved have been signed to Temporary Residence for releases outside of the series (Eluvium, Explosions in the Sky, Mono) whilst some haven't had any other releases on the label (Mogwai, Songs: Ohia), and some artists on Temporary Residence have not released anything for the series.

Eluvium (musician) American songwriter

Eluvium is the moniker of the American ambient recording artist Matthew Cooper, who currently resides in Portland, Oregon. Cooper, who was born in Tennessee and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, before relocating to the Northwest, is known for blending various genres of experimental music including electronic, minimalism and piano. His albums often feature artwork and photographs by Jeannie Paske.

Paul Newman is an Austin-based post rock/math rock band taking its name from its bass guitarist. Their music is largely instrumental, creating vast soundscapes with occasional interjections of both subtle and intense vocals.

Pebbles is an extensive series of compilation albums in both LP and CD formats that have been issued on several record labels, though mostly by AIP. Together with the companion Highs in the Mid-Sixties series, the Pebbles series made available over 800 obscure, mostly American "Original Punk Rock" songs recorded in the mid-1960s — primarily known today as the garage rock and psychedelic rock genres — that were previously known only to a handful of collectors. In 2007, the release of the Pebbles, Volume 11: Northern California CD marked the final album in the Pebbles series. The following year, Bomp! marked the 30th anniversary of the original Pebbles album with a spartan, limited-edition, clear-vinyl reissue complete with the original pink cover insert.

<i>More Revery</i> 2000 EP by Bonnie Billy

More Revery by Bonnie Billy is the name of a Will Oldham EP released in 2000 as Volume 7 of the Travels in Constants subscription series on the label Temporary Residence Limited. It was recorded live at the Palais du Congres in Shelbyville, Kentucky by Paul Oldham and consists of six cover songs.

Sonna was an American post-rock band from Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The band formed in 1998, and released two full-length albums on label Temporary Residence, of which guitarist deVine is the owner.

Travels in Constants, Vol. 12 is an EP by the Scottish group Mogwai, and is part of Temporary Residence Limited's Mail order Travels in Constants series. It was released in 2001 through Temporary Residence Limited. The EP was included in its entirety on the 2014 reissue of Come On Die Young.

Jefre Cantu-Ledesma is a multi-instrumentalist, member of several bands and co-founder of the Root Strata record label based out of San Francisco, California. Cantu-Ledesma got his start in the band Tarentel. He was one of the founding members and is still a primary figure in the band's line-up. In addition, Cantu-Ledesma is, and has been, involved in a slew of other musical projects. His label, Root Strata, is highly regarded by the drone/ambient music community and has an extensive catalog that includes artists such as Tarentel, Grouper, Yellow Swans, Charalambides, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Oneohtrix Point Never, Barn Owl, Starving Weirdos, Gregg Kowalsky, and more.

Temporary Residence Limited is a Brooklyn, New York-based record label. TRL was started in Louisville, Kentucky in 1996 by Jeremy DeVine, and initially concentrated on releasing music by Louisville-based bands. DeVine moved to Baltimore, Maryland in the late 1990s to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art, but dropped out to concentrate on running the label by the end of the decade. DeVine later moved operations to Brooklyn, New York.

By the End of Tonight was an American instrumental rock band from Alvin, Texas. They were signed to notable post-rock label Temporary Residence Limited for their life as a band.
