Trent Toelau is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a five-eighth and hooker for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL.

Background

Toelau played for the Melbourne Thunderbolts, under 19s feeder to the Melbourne Storm, in SG Ball. Winning their player of the year in 2018. In 2019, he again won player of the year in Jersey Flegg.

Toelau then moved to the Newtown Jets before playing for St. Mary's, a feeder to Penrith, before moving to the Penrith Panthers.

Career

In Round 13 2024, Toelau made his NRL debut for Penrith against the St. George Illawarra Dragons off the bench, in a 22-12 loss at BlueBet Stadium.
