Trent Toelau is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a five-eighth and hooker for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL.
Toelau played for the Melbourne Thunderbolts, under 19s feeder to the Melbourne Storm, in SG Ball. Winning their player of the year in 2018. In 2019, he again won player of the year in Jersey Flegg.
Toelau then moved to the Newtown Jets before playing for St. Mary's, a feeder to Penrith, before moving to Penrith.
In round 13 of the 2024 NRL season, Toelau made his first grade debut for Penrith against the St. George Illawarra Dragons off the bench, in a 22-12 loss at BlueBet Stadium. Toelau played a total of 12 games for the club throughout the season but did not feature in the clubs grand final victory over Melbourne. [2]
