The Herald Sun Tour is an Australian professional bicycle race held in Melbourne and provincial Victoria, sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The first tour was held in October 1952 as a six-day event. It is now held annually over five days in February. It is named after the Herald Sun, Melbourne's only daily tabloid newspaper. It was originally known as the Sun Tour after The Sun News-Pictorial, and changed its name when The Sun News-Pictorial merged with The Herald in 1990.

The team has competed in every Tour de Georgia. The team was founded in 1992 by Raymond Cipollini and James Eichvalds. The team turned Pro in 1994 and hired Edward Beamon to be its director.
Trent Lowe is a professional road bicycle racer from Australia. He rode for Garmin–Transitions on the UCI ProTour from 2008 to 2010. Lowe was one of only two Australians on the Slipstream Squad, the other being Chris 'CJ' Sutton who came from Cofidis in 2007. The former full-time professional mountain biker had a breakthrough year on the road in 2005 riding for the US domestic team, Jittery Joe's, where he caught eye of Discovery Channel sports manager Johan Bruyneel. He was signed for Discovery Channel for his superior climbing abilities. In 2002 he won the UCI MTB World Junior XC Championship, then he won the under-23 Australian National Mountain Bike Championship in 2003 and 2004.
Matthew Lloyd is an Australian former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2007 and 2014. Lloyd is the first Australian cyclist to win a King of the Mountains competition in a grand tour.
Matthew "Matt" Wilson is a retired professional Australian road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional between 2001 and 2012. During 2007 he rode as a domestique for the UCI ProTour team Unibet.com. In 2008 and 2009, he rode as a team leader for the US-based Team Type 1, and rode for the Garmin–Transitions team in 2010 and 2011. He joined GreenEDGE for the 2012 season, and retired after the Vattenfall Cyclassics in August of that year.
Cameron Meyer is an Australian former professional racing cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2009 to 2022.
Bernard Sulzberger is an Australian former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2006 and 2016. He is the older brother of fellow professional racing cyclist Wesley Sulzberger.
UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team was a professional road bicycle racing team, run by Momentum Sports Group and based in the United States. The team is sponsored principally by UnitedHealth Group. It began at the end of 2009 as a reorganization of the OUCH Pro Cycling Team, with headlining cyclist Floyd Landis leaving the team. The team folded at the end of the 2018 season, with the main sponsor transferring to Rally Cycling.

Simon Clarke is an Australian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Israel–Premier Tech. He previously rode for the Astana (2011) and Orica–GreenEDGE (2012–2015) teams in the UCI World Tour. Before turning professional, Clarke competed in track cycling as an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. He is not related to fellow Australian cyclist and past teammate Will Clarke.

David McKenzie is an Australian former racing cyclist. He won the Australian national road race title in 1998. McKenzie's biggest victory came on stage 7 of the 2000 Giro d'Italia where he rode to victory after a 164 km solo breakaway. McKenzie won the Goulburn to Sydney Classic in 2005. He now works as a cycling journalist and commentator for Australian broadcaster SBS. He has been involved with the UCI Continental teams Black Spoke Pro Cycling Academy and EuroCyclingTrips - CMI Pro Cycling.
Jamie Peter Drew is an Australian former racing cyclist. He won the Australian national road race title in 2000. He won the Melbourne to Warrnambool Classic in 1999 and 2002.
The Saturn Cycling Team was an American cycling team that existed from 1992 to 2003. It was managed by Tom Schuler and sponsored by the Saturn Corporation.
Scott Guyton is a New Zealand former professional cyclist, who currently works as the directeur sportif and general manager of UCI Continental team Bolton Equities Black Spoke. Guyton competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, in the men's individual road race, and at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, in the men's individual road race.
