Trevor McCallum (born February 26, 1964) is a former English-Canadian soccer defender who played professionally in the North American Soccer League and earned eighteen caps with the Canada men's national soccer team.
McCallum played with Aston Villa's youth team, and in 1979 he moved to Canada where he played with Mississauga United in 1981. [1] In 1982, he played in the National Soccer League with Toronto Italia. [1] [2] In 1983, he played in the North American Soccer League with Toronto Blizzard in the last two seasons of the league. [3] In 1986, he returned to the National Soccer League and played with former team Toronto Italia. [4] The following season he played in the Canadian Soccer League with the Edmonton Brick Men, but was traded to the Blizzard midway through the season. [5] During his time in the Canadian Soccer League he was selected to the 1989 All-Star team. [6]
In 1990, he was originally transferred to Edmonton, but shortly after was traded to Kitchener Spirit. [7] In 1991, he returned to play with the Toronto Blizzard. [8] [9]
McCallum made his debut for the Canadian national soccer team on December 6, 1983 against Mexico in a friendly match. [10] In total he played 18 international matches for the national team between 1983 and 1988. [11] [12]
His nephew Gavin McCallum is also a footballer who played for the Canadian national soccer team. [13]

The season began on May 19, 2006, and concluded on October 15, 2006, with Italia Shooters defeating Serbian White Eagles, 1–0, at Esther Shiner Stadium to win their first CSL Championship. In the regular season Serbia clinched the International Division, and Oakville Blue Devils secured their first National Division title. The league was re-branded as the Canadian Soccer League, and renamed their two existing conferences into the International and National division. The changes brought about an increase in sponsorship, media coverage, and a 50% increase in attendance. The CSL also received greater autonomy from the Ontario Soccer Association. The league struck an agreement with the Toronto Community News which provided coverage for the league and its member clubs through their nine community newspapers.

Though the Blizzard would still manage to secure a treble after finishing first in the standings to claim the regular-season title, and defeating London Marconi for the NSL Ontario Cup. Toronto would earn the treble by defeating Vancouver Columbus Italia for the NSL Canadian Championship. The fourth piece of silverware was claimed by the Blizzard after defeating Luso Stars of the Quebec National Soccer League (LNSQ) for the NSL Canada Cup.

The season began in May, 1982 and concluded in late October 1982 with the NSL Championship final where Hamilton Steelers successfully defended their title against Toronto Italia in a two-legged series final. Toronto Italia would still achieve a double by producing an undefeated streak to claim the regular-season title and the NSL Cup by defeating St. Catharines Roma.
