The women's triathlon was part of the Triathlon at the 2014 Commonwealth Games program. The competition was held on 24 July 2014 at Strathclyde Country Park in Glasgow.

Competition format

The race was held over the "international distance" (also called "Olympic distance") and consisted of 1,500 metres (0.93 mi) swimming, 40 kilometres (25 mi) road bicycling, and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) road running. [1]

Pragnya Mohan Indian triathlete

Pragnya Mohan is an Indian triathlete from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In 2019, she became the first triathlete to represent India in the Triathlon World Cup. She is the current and multiple times South Asian and National Triathlon Champion and has won gold medals at the South Asian Games and the National Games.

The women's triathlon at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place at the Odaiba Marine Park in Tokyo on 27 July 2021.
