Trisha Mann-Grant is an American actress. She is known for playing the role of Dominique Leroux in the BET+ crime drama series, The Family Business .

Life and career

Mann was born in Chicago, Illinois and attended the Roosevelt University. While styding, Mann became a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority and was crowned Miss Black Chicago. [1] She later began performing as a model before making her stage and screen debuts as an actress. During the 2000s, Mann appeared in a number of independent movies and guest-starred on television series such as The Parkers , Eve and Cold Case .

In 2015, Mann starred in the mystery crime-thriller film, The Man in 3B directed by Trey Haley and based on the novel of the same name by Carl Weber. [2] She later appeared in the comedy-drama film Throwback Holiday directed by Haley, and in 2020 was cast as Dominique Leroux in the BET+ crime drama series, The Family Business also based on Carl Weber's novel series. [3]

In 2024, she was cast Dana “Leslie” Thomas in the CBS soap opera, Beyond the Gates . [4] [5] It will premiere in early 2025. [6]

Days of Our Lives is an American television soap opera that aired on the network NBC from November 8, 1965, to September 9, 2022; the soap has streamed new episodes on Peacock since September 12, 2022. <i>Beyond the Gates</i> (TV series) American TV soap opera (since 2025)

Beyond the Gates is an upcoming American television soap opera created by Michele Val Jean, which will begin broadcast on CBS in February 2025, as part of their daytime programming block. Set in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington, D.C., the serial will center around the Dupree family, a multi-generational affluent African-American family in the gated community of Fairmont Estates. The serial is the first daytime television soap opera to feature a predominately African-American cast since Generations (1989–1991) and the first new daytime soap to debut on a major American broadcast network since Passions in 1999. Production commenced in November 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia.
