Tropika Island of Treasure is a South African reality competition television series. The show features an equal number of South African celebrities and public contestants competing in a luxurious, paradise-island location for a cash prize. Each episode the players compete in an Island Game. Each week's Island Game winner listens to the other players pleas to stay on the island, and they alone have the power to decide who stays and who goes by uttering the words "Pack your bags and get off my Island". The final Island Game winner receives a prize of R1 million. The format is owned and produced by Stimulii Licensing and broadcast on SABC3. In the programme, contestants are isolated on a remote Fijian island and compete for a cash prize of NZ$25,000. From the 2019 edition, the winner of the Celebrity Treasure Island will receive NZ$100,000 and NZ$50,000 for the regular season their chosen charity.

Survivor South Africa: Santa Carolina is the third season of the South African reality game show Survivor South Africa. The season was filmed in late 2009 and aired weekly between January and April 2010 on Wednesdays nights on M-Net with the ninety-minute live season finale airing on the 21, April 2010. M-Net also commissioned a 15th episode that had a look at the whole series with retrospective views from all the contestants. Katlego Moswane Maboe is a South African TV presenter, singer-songwriter and accountant. He was consecutively awarded Best TV Presenter at the South African Film and Television Awards in 2015 and 2016. Celebrity Treasure Island 2021 is the 11th season overall, and the fifth celebrity season of the New Zealand reality-television series Treasure Island. After a break in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fifth edition of Celebrity Treasure Island was filmed in the summer of 2021 on an island off the coast of Ngataki, in Northland, New Zealand, instead of the usual location, Fiji. The season premiered on 6 September, and airs weekly, Monday to Wednesday, at 7:30 PM on TVNZ 2. Matt Chisholm and Bree Tomasel returned as hosts. 21 new celebrity castaways take part on home soil, going head-to-head for the chance to win NZ$100,000 for their chosen charity.

Celebrity Treasure Island 2019 marked the show's return after a hiatus of more than a decade. Hosted by Survivor NZ producer and host, Matt Chisholm, as well as ZM radio's Drive host Bree Tomasel. The classic Kiwi game show will have 16 celebrity castaways pair up as they complete challenges for the chance to win $100,000 for their charity of choice in Fiji. The season premiered on Sunday 18 August, 7 pm and continues Monday & Tuesday 7.30 pm, TVNZ 2. This was to be the final show that Matt Chisholm presented with TVNZ.

Jessica "Jay" Carly Anstey, popularly known as Jay Anstey, is a South African actress and model. She is best known for the roles in the films, Sleeper's Wake, Farewell Ella Bella, Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, and Hell Trip.

Celebrity Treasure Island 2022 is the sixth celebrity edition and the 12th season overall of the New Zealand reality-television series Treasure Island which returned to Ngataki, Northland, New Zealand. This season premiered on 5 September, and aired weekly, Monday to Wednesday, at 7:30 PM on TVNZ 2 and TVNZ+; hosted by Matt Chisholm and Bree Tomasel. One of the twenty-one celebrities won a grand prize of $100,000 for their chosen charity.
