Troy Stone (born 13 December 1971) is an Australian rugby league footballer who played as a professional in England and Australia.
Stone was born in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia. [2]
A junior from Goulbourn United, Stone debuted in 1993 for the Cronulla Sharks as a centre.
However, in 1994, when Stone moved to join the Dragons he moved into the front row. [3] Stone played in the 1996 Grand Final for St George, which they lost to Manly. Also in 1996, Stone played in his only representative game, playing for NSW City in their annual clash with NSW Country.
Stone then played the 1997 Super League season with the new Hunter Mariners franchise before joining the Canterbury Bulldogs. Stone played from the interchange bench for the Canterbury Bulldogs in their loss at the 1998 NRL grand final to the Brisbane Broncos.
Halfway through the 2001 NRL season, Stone joined the Huddersfield Giants after receiving little game time at Canterbury. [4]
Stone spent a season with the Widnes Vikings before retiring at the end of 2002. [5] [6]
The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Belmore, a suburb in the Canterbury-Bankstown region of Sydney. They compete in the NRL Telstra Premiership, as well as competitions facilitated by the New South Wales Rugby League, including the Canterbury Cup NSW, the Jersey Flegg Cup, Harvey Norman Women's Premiership, Tarsha Gale Cup, S. Hazem El Masri is a Lebanese Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a winger in the 1990s and 2000s. An international representative for Australia and Lebanon, and a New South Wales State of Origin representative goal-kicking wing, he played his entire club football career in Sydney with Canterbury-Bankstown with whom he won the 2004 NRL Premiership. In 2009 El Masri took the record for the highest-ever point scorer in premiership history and for a record sixth time was the NRL's top point scorer for the season. He also became only the seventh player in history to score over 150 NRL tries, having primarily played on the wing, but also at fullback.
Paul Rauhihi is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who represented New Zealand. Rauhihi played in both the National Rugby League (NRL) and Super League as a prop.

Fifteen clubs competed during the regular season before the top eight finishing teams contested the finals series. The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs defeated the Sydney Roosters in the 2004 NRL grand final and in doing so claimed their eighth premiership.
Glenn Hall is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. He played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the Sydney Roosters, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, with which he won the 2008 NRL premiership and 2009 World Club Challenge with and the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League, while also had a stint in the Super League with the Bradford Bulls. He primarily played as a second-row and prop.
Luke "The General" Patten is a former professional rugby league footballer and NRL match official. A Junior Kangaroo and Country New South Wales representative fullback he played for the Illawarra Steelers, St George Illawarra Dragons and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in Australia and the Salford City Reds in the Super League. Patten won the 2004 NRL Premiership with the Bulldogs.
Scott Hill is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He was previously with the Harlequins RL club in the Super League. His usual position is at five-eighth. Hill previously played in Australia for the Melbourne Storm, Hunter Mariners and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. Hill is a former New South Wales and Australian representative player.
Desmond John Hasler is an Australian professional rugby league coach and former player who is the current head coach of the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League.
Michael De Vere is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He represented Australia in four tests and New South Wales in five State of Origin matches. A goal-kicking outside back who could play centre, wing or fullback and also a skilful goal-kicker who ended his career having kicked at 76.62%, De Vere played club football for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL, with whom he won the 1997, 1998 and 2000 premierships. He later played with English club the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League, reaching the 2006 Challenge Cup final. In 2009, he instigated a comeback with the Brisbane Broncos, which only lasted one game before he retired.
Jason Paul Williams is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. A New Zealand international representative winger, he played his club football in Australia for Sydney's Western Suburbs Magpies, Eastern Suburbs Roosters, South Sydney Rabbitohs, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Penrith Panthers as well as in England for Salford. Williams played 145 games in the Australian competition from 1987–88 and 1991–98, scoring a total of 63 tries and winning the 1995 ARL Premiership with the Canterbury club. Williams played in 12 test matches for New Zealand between 1991 and 1995, scoring one try. He played in one non-test international on the 1993 Kiwis tour against Wales and two World Cup matches.
