Peter Hook is an English singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He is best known as the bassist and co-founder of English rock bands Joy Division and New Order. Hook often used the bass as a lead instrument, playing melodies on the high strings with a signature heavy chorus effect. In New Order, he would do this, leaving the actual basslines to keyboards or sequencers.
Hybrid are a British electronic music group composed of Mike and Charlotte Truman. The group was formed in 1995 by Mike Truman, Chris Healings, and Lee Mullin. At the time, they were primarily known as a breakbeat collective, although they overlapped considerably with progressive house and trance.

"You're the One" was released as a single and reached #2 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in the United States. Yoko Ono achieved a number one on the Hot Dance Club Play chart in August 2008 with "Give Peace a Chance".
"Everytime We Touch" is a song performed by the German techno and Eurodance trio Cascada, taken from their 2006 debut album of the same name. It was written, composed, and produced by the band's DJs, Manian and Yanou; however, the only writing/composing credits were given to Maggie Reilly, Stuart Mackilliop, and Peter Risavy, as the song borrows the chorus from Reilly's single of the same name. "Everytime We Touch" was first released in the United States on August 16, 2005 by Robbins Entertainment. It was later released internationally in association with other dance music labels including Zooland Records and All Around the World and Universal Music Group following its success in the United States. Musically, the song was composed as a Eurodance track with a pulsating synthesizer, jackhammer beat, and Europop lyrics.

Greatest Hits is a greatest hits album by Swedish group Ace of Base. It is their second compilation with this title, the first being Arista's 2000 US release Greatest Hits (2000). It was released under Playground Music on 14 November 2008, and is the last album to be released under the original contract of 5 original albums. The compilation was released in multiple formats, including a single disc edition and a 2CD+DVD compilation which includes 16 of their hits, 13 previously released remixes, and 17 music videos. The set also includes four newly recorded remakes of hit songs. Beside previously unreleased songs included on the 2015 compilation album Hidden Gems, this is the last Ace of Base album to date with new material to feature vocalist Jenny Berggren.
Disappear Here is the fourth studio album by British electronica group Hybrid, released on 28 March 2010 by Distinct'ive Records. A "Widescreen Edition" was released on 22 November, which included alternative and exclusive tracks. It was nominated for "best album" at the Breakspoll 2011 awards. The title of the album is a reference to Bret Easton Ellis's first novel, Less Than Zero.
"Contenders" is a song by the British new wave and synth-pop band Heaven 17, released in 1986 as the first single from their fourth studio album Pleasure One. It was written and produced by Glenn Gregory, Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware. The song reached No. 80 in the UK and spent four weeks on the chart. It also reached No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard Dance/Club Play Singles Chart. A music video was filmed to promote the single.
Classics is a greatest hits album by Hybrid. The album contains songs from Hybrid's previous studio albums and also contains a cover of "Enjoy the Silence", originally by Depeche Mode. The cover was a result of a fan poll, where fans could suggest songs for Hybrid to cover. The album was originally due for autumn 2011, but ended up being delayed until 30 July 2012. The album was released, both as a standard CD, as well as a 4-disc box set, which contains previously unreleased material. The box set was originally limited to 300 copies, however the number was increased to 500. The deluxe edition saw a digital download release on 7 September 2012, due to public demand. A 5th disc was only made available to the first 40 orders of the deluxe edition, and then later given away.
"Dooms Night" is the debut single by German DJ/producer Azzido Da Bass, first released in 1999 in Germany. The song did well there, but not so well upon its release in the UK, missing the top 40 twice in 2000 until a remix of the song by Timo Maas was released; it was this version which gave the song huge mainstream chart success, reaching number eight on the UK Singles Chart.
