Tsuyoshi Kinoshita (born 5 July 1975) is a Japanese former international rugby union player. [1]
Born in Osaka Prefecture, Kinoshita was a high school classmate of Daisuke Ohata. He studied at Kyoto Sangyo University, during which time he became a Kansai representative. [2]
Kinoshita was picked for Japan's under-23 national side in 1997 and first represented the senior team at the 1998 Asian Games. He often played in the second row although his first two Japan caps was at prop against Tonga and South Korea in 2002. A two-time All-Japan Championship winner with the NEC Green Rockets, Kinoshita retired from rugby in 2010 and switched to American football, playing for X League side Obic Seagulls as an offensive player. Hideo Kaneshiro is a former rugby union footballer who played for Japan. Playing at flanker and as hooker, Kaneshiro played for Toyota Verblitz and had a cap for Japan against Argentina in Buenos Aires on 22 May 1993, being his only international test cap. He mostly played for Toyota Verblitz from 1991 - since he graduated from university - until his retirement in 2000.

Takanofuji Sanzō is a former professional sumo wrestler and current mixed martial artist from Sakai, Ibaraki, Japan. He made his professional debut in March 2013 and his highest rank was jūryō 5. He is the twin brother of former makuuchi division wrestler Takagenji, and they are the first twins to both reach the second highest jūryō division. He won one makushita division championship. He was suspended from the September 2019 tournament after an investigation found he had struck an attendant, and was asked to retire by the Japan Sumo Association. After initially refusing to comply, he retired on 11 October 2019.
