Tum Se Kehna Tha is a Pakistani television series first broadcast in 1995 on PTV. It was directed by Sahira Kazmi. The series was based on Hollywood film While You Were Sleeping and adapted by Syed Mohammad Ahmed for the screenplay, which marked his debut as a screenwriter. The series was adapted from 1995 Hollywood film While You Were Sleeping , starring Bill Pullman and Sandra Bullock. [5] It marked Khan's first collaboration with Ahmed, later directed his scripts such as Tum Hi Tou Ho (2002) and Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat (2009). [6]

He is best known for Mystery Theater, Badtameez, Tum Se Kehna tha, Shaista Shaista, Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat, Annie Ki Ayegi Baraat, Tanhaiyan Naye Silsilay, Dareecha, Goya, and many other series and telefilms such as Khamoshi, Ghoongat and Ramchand Pakistani. His appearance as Shah Jahan/Agha Jan in Suno Chanda was praised by critics, and he went on to reprise his role in its sequel Suno Chanda 2. Zahid Iftikhar Ahmed is a Pakistani television actor and former RJ. Ahmed worked as a creative manager for PTV World, and later became an RJ. He later left it to pursue a career in acting, and made his broadway debut with a leading role in the play It Runs in the Family (2006). He also portrayed Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Anwar Maqsood's, Sawa 14 August and its sequel Pawnay 14 August. That same year, he made his television debut with the romantic series Mehram.

She along with Uzma Gillani, Roohi Bano, Tahira Naqvi and Khalida Riyasat dominated the television screens of Pakistan during 1970s and 1980s.
