Dato' Seri Diraja Tan SriTunku Abdul Hamid Thani ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah (born 18 June 1952) is the Tunku Bendahara of Kedah. He is the son of Sultan Badlishah and a younger brother of Sultan Sallehuddin and younger half-brother of Sultan Abdul Halim. [1]
Tunku Abdul Hamid Thani was born on 18 June 1952 in Terengganu. He is the son of late Sultan Badlishah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdul Hamid Halim Shah, the 27th Sultan of Kedah and his wife, the late Sultanah Asma binti Almarhum Sultan Sulaiman Badrul Alam Shah. [2]
He graduated with a diploma in Hotel Management from the Institut Teknologi MARA, Malaysia in 1972. [3]
His son was Tengku Jonaris Badlishah (c. November 1974 – c. 1999), a convicted murderer who was sentenced to death in Singapore in 1998. [4]
