Tureberg ( Loudspeaker.svg pronunciation ) is a neighbourhood in Sollentuna Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 18,866 inhabitants (2018). [1] It is a Stockholm suburb and houses the seat of local government for the municipality as well as a large shopping mall and a Stockholm commuter rail station.

Tureberg has also evolved as a law enforcement center for the northern part of metropolitan Stockholm, with police station, [2] court house, [3] prosecutor's office, [4] and a jail, [5] all in buildings built in the 1980s and onwards. The present courthouse was inaugurated in 2010.

Tureberg is a Risk area. [6]

Edsberg is an urban district in Sollentuna Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. It is located at the bottom of the Edsviken Bay, which forms a long inlet all the way from the Baltic Sea. It forms part of Stockholm. In daily use Edsberg means the area with multifamily houses spread around Edsbergs centrum and Edsbergskyrkan north of Danderydsvägen. The municipality part called Edsberg also contains Landsnora, an area of villas to the south of Danderydsvägen and the east of Edsbergsparken. A bit further on to the south of Danderydsvägen is the new area called Kvarnskogen with a mixed set of house types. Also contained in Edsberg is Edsängen between Edsberg and Frestavägen, and the summer house areas a bit further north called Södersättra and Norrsättra. Plans to develop the area to the east of Frestavägen are in the making.

Sollentuna is one of the five stations of the Stockholm commuter rail in Sollentuna Municipality. It is situated in the neighbourhood of Tureberg 13.3 km north of Stockholm Central Station. The station was originally called Tureberg and was opened in 1866 in a rural setting along the railway Stockholm–Uppsala. The name was changed to Sollentuna in 1968 at the request of the municipality, since Tureberg is the de facto centre of the municipality. The area around the station has developed into a suburban centre with high rise buildings, a bus terminal and a large shopping mall.

Vulnerable area is a term applied by police in Sweden to areas with high crime rates and social exclusion. In the December 2015 report, these areas numbered 53. In the June 2017 report, these totalled 61. The increase is reported to be due to better reporting, not a changing situation. The overall trend is that these areas are improving.

Stora Ursvik is a district in Sundbyberg Municipality with 2306 inhabitants, and a suburb in the Stockholm metropolitan area. An unbuilt corner of the district is located in Stockholm Municipality. This residential area is under construction, with an estimated completion in 2026. The first people moved in in 2007. Before that it was farmland owned by the Oxenstierna family, then from the beginning of the 20th century by the Swedish military until 2005. It is connected to Lilla Ursvik to the east and the uninhabited Kymlinge to the north. It is separated by motorways from Rinkeby to the west and Rissne to the south. Two tram stations, on the Tvärbanan Kista line, are planned in the west of the district. The building plan for the district has low buildings in the north and east, and higher buildings in the south and west.

Björkborn Manor is a manor house and the very last residence of Alfred Nobel in Sweden. The manor is located in Karlskoga Municipality, Örebro County, Sweden. The current-standing white-colored manor house was built in the 1810s, but the history of the property is older.
