Turis Fratyr is the first studio album released by German folk metal band Equilibrium. It was released on 14 February 2005. A 2008 re-release included Demo 2003 as a bonus disc.

Equilibrium is a German folk metal band. The band's music combines elements of folk music, black metal and symphonic metal with various other influences. Their riffs reflect traditional Germanic melodies. Their lyrical themes focus on Germanic tales and Germanic mythology. All of their song lyrics are in German, except for the songs "The Unknown Episode", "Born to Be Epic", "Rise Again" and "Prey".

Something Wild is the debut full-length album by Finnish melodic death metal band Children of Bodom, released in 1997 in Finland, and in 1998 worldwide.. Upon release, the album was met with universal acclaim by music critics.
Comalies is the third studio album by Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil, released on 29 October 2002 through Century Media Records. According to lead singer Cristina Scabbia, "[During the album's recording], we had a sort of creative explosion. We were working in a coma, sort of like in a different dimension. First of all we just wanted to use the word 'coma' but there was something missing so we played with the two words coma and lies." Comalies peaked at #178 on the Billboard 200 and Peaked at #9 on the Top Heatseekers and Independent Albums charts. The album has gone on to sell over 300,000 copies in the United States as of January 2012.

The tour, which was sponsored by their record label, Megaforce Records, was in support of their debut album, Kill 'Em All, released two days before the start of the tour. Metallica supported Raven, Venom and Twisted Sister while supporting acts for Metallica included Anthrax and Armored Saint. Tour setlists consisted of songs off their debut album, cover songs including Diamond Head's "Am I Evil?" and Blitzkrieg's self-titled song, and songs that would be released on Ride the Lightning.
81db is a band based in Italy that was formed in April 2006 by the Greek guitarist Kostas Ladopoulos. As he stated in the band's first interviews, the musical idea was to try to combine a new alternative rock/metal sound by mixing melodies and heavy guitar riffs with folk elements derived from Kostas’ Greek origins. The current members of the band are Kostas Ladopoulos, Filippo Capursi (Drums), William Frodella (Vocals), Vieri Pestelli (Bass). The band had their debut album out on 2009 through Orion’s Belt Records and published by EMI in Italy and distributed by Minos EMI in Greece. They are currently working with the producer Sylvia Massy for their upcoming release of 2011.
Fen is a British post-black metal band formed in 2006 from the Fens of East Anglia signed to the label Code666. Their Myspace page reports that they "draw the listener into a windswept and desolate landscape, bereft of hope". In 2006 they recorded the Ancient Sorrow EP and January 2009 saw the release of the first full length album The Malediction Fields under the CODE666 record label. This release was only possible due to the after the label refused to cover all the expenses, forcing the band to resort to fundraising, which according to the band's site was 10,000 Euros were given by the label, 10,000 Euros by the band itself and 4,000 Euros, with the help of fans.
Instinctus Bestialis is the ninth full-length studio album by Norwegian black metal act Gorgoroth. It was released on 8 June 2015 by Soulseller Records. It was also released digitally, as well as on digipak CD in a limited first pressing, limited black vinyl LP and limited picture vinyl LP. It is the first album to feature vocalist Atterigner and was the last to feature bassist Bøddel, who died from cancer four months after the album's release.
