The 2001 World Games, the sixth World Games, were an international multi-sport event held in Akita, Japan.

The Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) is an international sport federation founded in 1998 after the expansion of the European Ju-Jitsu Federation (EJJF) for the propagation of the modern competitive sports version of Jujitsu, also known as Sport Ju-Jitsu.

Mark Cocker (wrestler) Wrestler

Mark Cocker is a Freestyle wrestler, Ju-Jitsu and Judo player who trains with Bolton Olympic Wrestling Club. Cocker is a British and English freestyle wrestling champion and has competed for England and Great Britain for fifteen years. He is also a 1st Dan black belt in Judo under Steve Pullen MBE and 1st Dan Black Belt in Ju-Jitsu under Professor Trevor Roberts.

Séverine Nébié is a Burkinabé judoka who trains in France. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Women -63kg event and lost in the second round. She was also the flag bearer for Burkina Faso at the opening ceremony. She also competes in ju-jitsu in which she won the world championship 2015 in Thailand.

Iraq at the 2018 Asian Games

Iraq participated in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September 2018. Iraq first competed at the Asian Games in 1974 Tehran, and the best achievement was in 1982 Delhi, when the country was ranked 11th with a total 9 medals, 2 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals. At the last edition in Incheon, Iraq had collected 4 medals, and was ranked 25th in medals tally.

Singapore at the 2018 Asian Games

Singapore participated in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September 2018. It was Singapore's 18th appearance at the Asian Games, having competed at every Games since 1951, and claimed 8 gold, 7 silver, and 12 bronze medals at the 2006 Doha, as their best achievement this far. At the last edition of 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea, the country won five gold, 6 silver, and 13 bronze medals.

Ju-jitsu at the 2018 Asian Games was held at the Jakarta Convention Center Assembly Hall, Jakarta, Indonesia, from 24 to 26 August 2018.

Bahrain at the 2018 Asian Games

Bahrain will participate in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September 2018. Bahrain first competed at the Asian Games in 1982 Delhi, and has collected 58 medals in all - 25 gold, 17 silver, and 16 bronze until the last Games in 2014 Incheon.

Tian En Constance Lien is a Singaporean female ju-jitsu practitioner who also formerly trained the sport of swimming. Her sister Charity Lien is a swimmer who has represented Singapore in swimming meets and her mother Yuen Shuang Ching was also a national swimmer.

Dương Thị Thanh Minh is a Vietnamese female ju-jitsu practitioner who also formerly competed as a judoka in international competitive events. She represented Vietnam at the 2010 Asian Games as a judoka and competed in the women's 52kg event.

Chang Hui-tsz is a Taiwanese freestyle wrestler. In 2019, she won one of the bronze medals in the women's 76 kg event at the 2019 Asian Wrestling Championships held in Xi'an, China.
